Yes Yahoo! is quite late with this expansion move of Flickr..it's quite a logical one though as many digital photo cameras allow to make small videos as well. The Flickr video service will probably best work as supplementary (and in the best case complementary (photo slides with music, video shots from the photo location et cetera)) to the photos, the core medium of the Flickr community.

A big problem with integration of services is that community members may alienate from the total product as they do not relate to some services or think they are served better by other service providers.
