It's a motherfucking Roast, bitches and gentlemen! (Wtf Talk Post)

mas8705 says...

Its been a while since I roasted someone, so I maybe a bit rusty...

You know something, that hasn't been talked of yet is the channel that Mr. Fisk is in charged of, Controversy...

We all know that Mr. Fisk can be off his rocker at times, but what drives a man to be in charge of something like controversy? From what we can deciper from what Mr. Dotdude shared, I picked some of my favorite quotes from his 500 acceptance speech...

1) And to think, I was nearly permanently banned my first month here:
Meaning that this guy shouldn't be here in the first place? Not even one month on videosift and people were already trying to get rid of this guy... I mean seriously, compared to what he has gone through when he first started, this roast is pretty much a cakewalk...

2) Next up, I'd like to thank the rest of y'all suave mofos, for watching, upvoting, and appreciating my twisted sense of humor. And finally, I'd like to thank myself. It wasn't as easy as I made it look, pinpointing the greatest underground rap videos (often foregoing the luxury of thumbnails), locating full episodes and movies (the internet is public domain, so far as I'm concerned), posting political videos that I disagreed with but refused to ignore (how many did I take from you, qm and billo?), and of course, the controversy:
Can you believe that this was only three sentences? Besides writing an extra long sentence at the end that a grammar teacher would frown on (not like I have anything going myself with my three periods...), He acknowledge people as "Suave Mofos." Congrats people, when he hit 500 he complimented and insulted you at the same time and not many people can do that... He then goes off by saying reasons why he should have been banned, by confessing how he uses Licensed Underground Rap videos, full episodes and movies, political videos that discredit people, "and of course, the controversy." How is this man Ranked 39!?! He admitted that he lied, cheated, and stoled to get to where he is today!

3) What I found (Videosift), was a galaxy of videos, which have entertained, educated, appalled, and bored the fuck out of me:
I love how he puts "bored the fuck out of me" at the end since this indicates that while he was, "entertained, and educated" he was really "appalled" by videos he has seen and overall bored of what some people attempt to post... Mr. Fisk is saying that doesn't like you or the videos that you post people... Only a few things amuse him, but overall, he just, BORED!

4) Yes, I've been controversial in the past, it's in my blood, you see? But I think the community, as a whole, is able to realize that I'm more of a civil-siftdisobedient than an outright siftarchist. I'm delighted to earn this meaningless achievement:
And we reach the end where he finishes his confession. He is a controversial man, he enriches his heritage of causing problems for other and is a disobedient troublemaker who embraced a honor by saying it is meaningless... Truly you are someone who sets a good example... An example of how to be an evil mastermind trying to throw people off by confusing and angering others...

O and did I forget to mention that he I peddles cigarettes and booze for a living... I went ahead to look up the definition of peddle and here it is...

ped·dle/ˈpedl/Verb
1. Try to sell (something, esp. small goods) by going from house to house or place to place.
2. Sell (an illegal drug or stolen item).

That's right people, he sells illegal cigarettes and booze from place to place!! You make me sick and I hope to get in on that action once you are found and brought to justice... Keep up the good work so that when you are finally arrested, you will have so much evidence against you even your lawyer will try and find you guilty... Thank you!

((In all seriousness though, Mr. Fisk, keep up the great job, the videos you find are great to watch and if you haven't posted the controversy channel, videosift still be brainwashed moron with no direction to go... Thank you and I hope you didn't get offended, but then again that is how roasts works right?))

Congresswoman Shot In The Head Point Blank 6 Others Killed

dystopianfuturetoday says...

From a DHS memo, as reported by FOX:

No direct connection, but strong suspicion is being directed at American Renaissance, an organization that Loughner mentioned in some of his internet postings and federal law enforcement officials are investigating Loughner's possible links to the organization. The organization is a monthly publication that promotes a variety of white racial positions.

"The group's ideology is anti government, anti immigration, anti ZOG (Zionist Occupational Government), anti Semitic," according to the memo which goes on to point out that Congressman Giffords is the first Jewish female elected to high office in Arizona. A recent posting on American Renaissance's website on January 7 begins with an article entitled: "Exit poll: Whites are Different." The site goes on to list anti-immigration articles. Investigators are also pursuing Loughner's alleged anti-Semitism. ...

According to the memo, Federal Judge John Roll's wife told law enforcement that he was not supposed to be at the rally but was called an hour beforehand and decided to attend at the last minute. Roll reportedly ruled on a controversial 32 million dollar civil rights lawsuit in February 2010 that elicited death threats for him and his family resulting in added security detail being assigned to him as a result. ...

There is no direct english translation. But calling it "gravity" is a massive fail.

your a fail,

just read what jubuttib put he has it right.

Evan though i didnot say "its called gravity" i think you will find that a Huge propotoin of getting sumone on the ground efficently is pritty much about using gravity and manipulating an indaviduals center of gravity.

Its quite clear that a good propotoin of pracitoiners of asain marsail arts are not using the word "Chi"/"qi" or hwoever its spelt as a way to describe a scentific force , Origonaly i thought it was litraly a case of them having another word that was not ment to be mystical, but its often used in the context of beeing mystical and magical. ( u can understand why when in the past that would be a good way to intimidate an oponent if they think your a magical person and ohnislty belive it then they are going to be shitting themselfs and hardly put up a good fight)

but now its just plain retarded.

Any Sifters bought an iPad? (Blog Entry by dag)

Deano says...

I would really like to have one to see if it could convert my dad to using a computing device - any computing device. He just can't handle them and refuses to use them, not even for the web where I'd know he'd gain real benefits. A simplified approach that doesn't require him to squint to see small icons.

Problem is I'm not willing to spend over £400 as an experiment. And certainly not with the usual useful features deliberately omitted to create a faux upgrade path.

Oh and another thing - no direct printing from the ipad? That's just ridiculous for everyday use. But a logical Apple decision given that they don't want to create something that can totally replace Mac computers.

Tea-Party Target: Parkinson's Hero Speaks

NordlichReiter says...

Rottenseed,

People are born with bad health and it is not their fault. It cannot be their fault. They were given no choice. I was referring to making people pay more to keep a person alive who was doomed before they were born, to an early death.

But another argument can be made; what about the environment caused them to have congenital birth defects, or was it a hereditary illness? Was it smoking, ingested chemicals, or something of a hereditary natural cause?

I can't be sure, because it was a long time ago, but I think Richard Dawkins discussed this in one of his books. A hereditary illness is natural selection, predation is natural selection, but a congenital birth defect because mom smoked is not natural selection. The baby that mom had could have lived to reproduce, but we shan't no because of the congenital defect.

Natural selection is the process by which those heritable traits that make it more likely for an organism to survive and successfully reproduce become more common in a population over successive generations. It is a key mechanism of evolution.

What I find interesting is that these Insurance companies were created largely out of good intention, yet they are so horribly wrong. Making decisions based on profit.

Could one argue that the evolution of corporation mirrors the evolution of the Homo Genus? I suppose, could that mean that the only predator man has is another man? I know I'm begging the question, but it is something to ponder.

The Health care system in Japan is one of the best in the world. Japan provides healthcare services, including screening examinations for particular diseases at no direct cost to the patient, prenatal care, and infectious disease control, are provided by national and local governments. Payment for personal medical services is offered through a universal health care insurance system that provides relative equality of access, with fees set by a government committee. People without insurance through employers can participate in a national health insurance program administered by local governments. Patients are free to select physicians or facilities of their choice and cannot be denied coverage. Hospitals, by law must be run as non-profit and managed by physicians. For profit corporations are not allowed to own or operate hospitals.

Modern Warfare - Drone Controllers At Work

NordlichReiter says...

You know that delightful red spray that shoots out of someones body when a projectile traveling at high speeds hits them? Or the wonderful mixture of shrapnel, shit, and intestines when someone blows up? What about the arterial splatter that is caused by severing the Carotid artery?

Well these guys don't get to witness that first hand, they see it through a CRT or LCD there's no direct threat to their lives; unlike an infantryman. Who's to say that the target is legit? The boss, well how about that Milgram_experiment? How do you know you made a righteous kill? Because someone told them so? I'm sure that will put a whole new spin on the Nuremberg Defense. The fact of the matter is this, it's fucking complicated. Made more complicated by the fact that they are pulling the trigger from the comfort of they're god damned arm chair.

It's a lot like lethal injection. Lethal injection makes it easier for a killer to kill. Make no mistake about it, if you take part in killing someone, even if it is lawful you are still a killer.

But, it is noted that even drone pilots get PTSD, and for good reason. They get to go home like nothing fucking happened. In my mind that makes it worse.

I see no direct evidence of bioluminscence in this example. It's red indeed, and the scintillation effect is produced by light scattering of the combs, not bioluminscence. Perhaps if filmed in low light...

You missed an "e," it's bioluminescence. And yes, the Bloodbelly Comb Jelly is bioluminescent. That is all.

"When goods are more highly demanded then prices go up, this is not inflation,"
Yes it is. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inflation
Increases in prices cause increases in incomes and vica versa. Hence there's no direct relation between inflation and buying power.

This isn't always the case as observed in the Carter years. Inflation can rise without wages increasing at the same rate. The term was stagflation, and was against everything Macro economics said was possible, which is why I say it is an invalid model, as did Von Mises.

Also, you don't need to have a degree in economics to be well informed on the subject. Trusting in academia to determine intellectual clout is unwise. Moreover, academia is chop full of people interested in validating Macro economics, it keeps the research grant money coming.

Constitution gives us the right to travel

bcglorf says...

Sorry, bcglorf, I'm not your step-and-fetch-it, so I am not going to answer every ridiculous claim thrown out by statist majorities. Also, I don't know you like I do others on this site so it doesn't interest me quite as much to engage, especially if you're going to be so smug about it.
Pointing a loaded gun at someone's family isn't the same as driving a car with drugs or alcohol in your system. This is a silly analogy, and once again another typically extreme and wild one you statists need to employ in an attempt to win the argument. Let me explain it simply so even a statist can understand:
Pointing a gun at someone's family means you have an intent to do direct harm.
There's no direct harm intended when driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Alright then, I'm your neighbour and I like to use my shotgun to shoot at cans on the fence that your children are playing behind. That would seem to be perfectly acceptable then? No intent to cause direct harm, right?
