there are some real gems wallowing in pq hell and if i can help pop em..thats exactly what im going to do.
and sometimes ill pop em if it may help a sifter get a new shini-shiny.
sometimes ill pop a vid just to piss people off because i know it will enrage them.(thats a secret pleasure, to watch nerdrage blow up).
i used to pq dive and not view the vid...
yeah..that didnt work out to well.i ended up sifting like 3 dead videos,which is contrary to what the sift is all about.
sooooooo..live and learn.
so yeah.
basically i enjoy helping a fellow sifter out and will take the time to watch a bit to make sure its sift worthy (even if i disagree with content).
thats me anyways.

i dont really understand your reference to the 12 votes deal.many of my vids have 10-13 votes but have 800 views.
not everybody votes.

The highest ranked youtube vid of all time (that isn't a professional music vid) is "Charlie bit my finger - again!" with approx 337 million views.

I love that there's a second-hand smoke ad before the actual music vid: "Remember, second-hand smoke hurts kids. And now, let's watch some child pornography."

It's made all the more disturbing due to the fact she's a terrible dancer and comes off looking even more like an uncoordinated toddler.

That's very fair A lot of times it's hard to love a tune on first listen, I think that's why it's difficult sifting music vids. To be fair, this isn't the greatest of theirs, still pretty cool to dance to when you're wankered, hehe

It is pretty hard to get a star here. Some people catch on right away. Others, like me, don't, but we still love the place.

Sadly, for the most part, the more silly the video, the more likely it will get votes, and the more serious or "useful" it is, the less likely.

Music vids almost never get point votes. Neither do long vids.

Short, silly, weird, that's what gets the votes. And nothing wrong with that, but if you're hot on getting your stars, those are the kinds of vids you need to look for.

^Not exactly xxovercastxx: The video you referenced is included in this player-This submission is the original music vid along with 2 live performances-It is similar, but not the same. Besides-this song deserves much more laud than one version can provide, eh??
