It tells me that it would be impossible for moderate Muslims to argue for peace and co-existence, when their God's direct representative spread his message and will with a sword.

It would be equivalent of Jesus leading the crusades himself and Christians saying "we are a religion of peace".

Power always brings corruption, Jesus wasn't around when his religion took power, so he maintained his ethicality. On the other hand, Mohammed was alive as the influence of his religion took hold. The video is accurate in saying that the beginning chapters of Quo-ran are peaceful, because back then Mohammed didn't have political power, so he preached ethically. But as people converted and he secured a political clout, the verses start to become aggressive and violent, because now he could exert pressure to spread his influence.

Yeah, his initial videos were entertaining, but he has indeed become far too wrapped up in his own self importance. I haven't upvoted his last couple of videos for that very reason, he's not really being part of the solution at all.

I highly doubt if it's fair to blame Matt Stone and Trey Parker from South Park for caving in. I think Viacom wouldn't allow them to air the episode like they wanted to. Also I doubt they had anything to do with the take-down notice, because they have said from the start they don't mind people using their stuff, only Viacom does.


I don't think he's blaming Stone and Parker, I understood it as 1/10 because Viacom employed them, otherwise it would have been 0/10. His comment was a bit vague though and I could see how it could also be interpreted from your angle as well.

at 2 am on the 20th I put up a drawing I did... More then just a stick man, I made a pretty funny cartoon. Then at 12 pm when I seen that one was still up I drove to the other town bulletin boards and posted the other Cartoons I drew. Most where offensive because they where of Mohammad explaining how drunk/high/peyote binge he was on when he created a religion he called "Islam"

So I hope I can rest my head easy knowing I did my anonymous part.

But she does make good points. She says the salient point, that people are not attacking Islam or their beliefs as such via this draw Mohammad day, but rather they are drawing Mohammad because some tried to stop people doing that by threatening to, and actually, killing people.

This is wrong on so many levels, and showing that the only result of using violence to stop people having freedom of expression is more people doing what you threatened against is a way of getting rid of the effectiveness of the threats. If people all over the world draw Mohammad, then these Muslims who preach violence against those will either have to go on monstrous killing rampages, or just give up knowing that they live in a more enlightened age.

And hey... so this video makes my drawing in the Thunderfoot video of Mohammad with boobs true... sweet.

You can always count on TYT to make an argument like a couple of retards. I find it ironic that these so called "ultra-liberals" are never able to actually look at a situation and analyze it like adults, they're just the left-wing version of their right-wing extremist equivalents (though that is definitely the preferable version).
At the very least be intelligent and honest enough to admit that the Muslims in question are honestly offended and rightly so, the whole point was to offend them. Am I saying they have any right to send death threats to anybody? or even go around campus erasing drawings? no. But when someone tries to make fun of someone else's beliefs you don't have to be a genius to expect someone will be offended. The fact they can't handle their being offended like adults is another problem and whether or not this whole draw Mohammad day is an admirable move or just some cheap shot at Muslims is again, unrelated.
