Laputa Opening and Ending (no text just pure awesome)
Or "Castle in the Sky" to those in North America. This is probably my least favourite Miyazaki. It puts me to sleep every time.
Laputa Opening and Ending (no text just pure awesome)
Awesome Miyazaki movie, and such a pity it's called "Laputa"
The Chestnut Tree: Animation
Fantastic, reminds me of Miyazaki films!
Ponyo on the Cliff -- new Miyazaki film
Automatic upvote for Miyazaki! Even when I'm a little scared!
On Your Mark - A Short Video by Hayao Miyazaki
The song not so much. The conveying of a story without dialog with Miyazaki's artistic flourishes... AWESOME!! I bookmarked this a while ago cause I didn't have time to watch it, so I'd like to *promote this puppy.
The Iron Giant - Don't Give Up
Kiki, Totoro...
No need to hold back... just watch all Miyazaki
I'll try to see this as well, tho (Iron Giant). I remember it got good reviews when it was shown at cinemas here, but never got around to see it myself.

You know, I do remember hearing something along those lines, but I haven't ever watched it dubbed. Mononoke-hime is actually possibly my favorite Ghibli (that or Grave of the Fireflies...SO SAD), so I guess I ought to upvote anyway lol.
In reply to this comment by smibbo:
the English version of "Princess Mononoke" was not a dub, it was rewritten by Neil Gaiman especially for American/English audiences with the supervision of Miyazaki. It had American and British stars and while not at all a different film was much more than a dub. I know because I own both the subtitled original and the reworked English. THe reworking is just as excellent as the original.

I don't vote for dubs as a general rule.

Kodamas! - Princess Mononoke pastiche
I don't vote for dubs as a general rule.
edit: but if miyazaki helped write the script for this dub himself, as Smibbo informs me, then I have no choice but to upvote, as this is an absolutely beautiful movie.
Sexism Strength and Dominance:Masculinity in Disney Films
Of all the movies our kids have watched so far, the best to my mind, don't come out of Hollywood. Movies like Miyazaki's Tonari no tottoro, are both theirs and my favourite. There's no man fighting for a woman, no man dominating another man. It's about kids finding their way in the world and it's absolutely enthralling.
Train Snow Plowing
totally awesome
I'd seen video of this before. This time it reminded me of Hayao Miyazaki's 'Spirited Away' film, where the train tracks are sometimes submerged under water.
