Her melody and words were WAY off. That isn't even close to "the star-spangled banner"
Smells Like Teen Spirit as a J-Pop Ballad
Reminded of a Bob Marley melody at the beginning. *promote
The most amazing Crass cover ever, with stop mo and puppets
Nice look, but horrible melody.
A Christmas Trololo
This, while being epically awesome, confuses me. It looks like not only do the people in the audience know the melody but they also know parts of the choreography. I could perhaps understand the audience members being mostly comprised of siblings/parents of the singers knowing the melody, but them knowing parts of the choreography just blows my mind... Perhaps there's a level of social popularity that this meme enjoyed in other parts of the world (I'm in Vancouver, BC in Western Canada) that it simply didn't enjoy here? A level that would drive everyday people to know the song and choreography that the man does as he walks... Or perhaps this is just one big inside joke?
Actually! Perhaps there's a director on the stage showing the audience what to do? Hmmm... the audience just looks too synchronized to be following ad-hoc direction. Anybody have any information to lighten my Christmaslololo confusion?
Sweet - Blockbuster
I like Sweet for using the classic jingle shave-and-a-haircut in the melody for Little Willy. And Love is Like Oxygen is better than ELO's entire discography.
But this song? ...meh.
Woman *Really* Enjoys Ecstasy at Public Pool
total inhibition--check
total ego collapse--check
bad techno music--check
body moving to the beat AND melody--check
girl having a great time oblivious to others staring---check.
yep..thats ecstacy.
seems she was really enjoying herself.now lets send her mom this video!
AMAZING cover... with a slight distraction....
It's not a full cover but a two part cover
First part: Meteor Shower
Second part: Fireflies
Both from Ocean Eyes album by Owl City.
Probably would be interesting if they kept it on Meteor Shower, as Fireflies has been played and heard a lot but not many has heard some of the other melodies which are just as great.
Agnostic Mountain Gospel Choir - Oh Sorrow
Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)
I really wanted to like this but their sound is rough as guts - too much dominated by chain smoking males without a sense melody and harmony. Get some female voices in there.
Jaw dropping guitar metal cover...OF LADY GAGA?!?!
This video brings something very important to light. I will never recall a single one of his sweeps or any of his technically impressive double tapped solos. When he remains true to the song's melody, it's straight forward, ordered, and stands out.
Pop music strives for the perfection of appealing to what the human brain craves: simplicity.
This is a baroque cover of a classical song. People will disparage the original as simplistic, boring. But the Classical period followed the Baroque period for a reason.
It's often forgotten that punk was not an outright rejection of pop music; it was a stripping down of pop music. It was an oversimplification, welcomed by many.
I'm drunk and don't have much in the way of a conclusion to tie my thoughts together, but the more astute readers will understand what I'm getting at.
Best rock remix of the ants go marching one by one ever made
The song is a rendition of the early 19th century Irish antiwar song "Johnny I Hardly Knew Ye" that was later revised in the USA as "When Johnny Comes Marching Home." This version was extremely popular during the Civil War.
The song you mention is one of a number of variations using the same melody.
Great rendition sifted BTW.
lustral/oxygen-feat-andrea britton-am i on your mind-live
Nice presence.
Absolutely beautiful voice.
Wonderful melody and stirring lyrics.
Thank you.
*quality, wish that I could more.

very niiiice.... have some of this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCTACNUzlNY .....I'm sure you've heard hundreds of remixes of this song(including this one)....everytime I hear that melody I get this euphoric rush and memories of a simple care-free uninhibited era of self-exploration wash over me....brief and fleeting moments of unadulterated bliss.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zyp1AxMJ2k
