Louis C.K. on Evolution

BTW, I started getting annoyed with Marc Maron. He comes off as a self-important sycophant to me. I think it's because he hates himself so much...>> ^kymbos:
I'm a bit sad to say I'm slowly falling out of love with Louis and Marc Maron. I'm not sure what to do about it.
Dave Chappelle, please start a twice weekly podcast, I'm begging you!

I always want to give people like that what they want and threaten them in the back of a 7-11 with a Gun like in Fight Club.

Over-exposure. And you're doing it to yourself. Check out Patton Oswalt, Bill Burr, Jim Norton, Jamie Kilstein, Jim Jeffries, Brian Regan, Eugene Mirman, David Cross, Bob Kelly, John Mulaney, Michael Ian Black, Mike Birbiglia, etc.

I know you probably know most of these guys, but I just wanted to remind you that they exist...enjoy their comedy for a while. Sprinkle some Louis in there.

Great Adam Carolla Rant On OWS

kymbos says...

There's a great interview of him by Marc Maron, which explains where he comes from. From memorry, he had a pretty deprived childhood, and his mother never wanted to work or something - it was pretty rough. I think he sees welfare as a crutch and that's all this is to it.

Doesn't make me agree with him in any way. The suggestion that the problems facing the US derive from a generation of people who were told they're too important is just silly.

As a great person once said: for every problem, there is a solution that is simple, elegant and wrong.

Adam's views are a great reflection of this.

Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)

Me too. Well, actually 1 of 2 podcasts.

>> ^kymbos:

I only really have enough time in a week for Marc Maron. Not that I've really looked around at other podcasts, to be fair, but Marc pumps out 2-3 hours of swesome comedy-junkie quality per week, and it's all I have time for.
I realised recently that I probably listen to him speaking more than almost anyone else in my life, with the possible exception of my wife. And that's only a possible exception. I don't listen to her speak uninterrupted for an hour and a half at any given time.
So what's this whole 'This American Life' thing about? Would it entertain a non-American?

Absolutely hilarious. Artie Lange is being interviewed by Marc Maron on his podcast 'WTF'. Talks about his experience playing Scrabble in a psych ward.

Guys, this is all fine, but can we quickly devolve into a redundant "he's really good / no he's not - I know singing better than you" thread?
Thanks.

<MilkmanDan> That was really good! He does sound a lot like Freddie Mercury, but I know Bohemian Rhapsody better than Somebody to Love, so this time I could actually be sure that it was him singing and not just lip-synch.

<MilkmanDon> You ignorant blowhard! My tomcat yowling at the moon at night sounds more like Freddie Mercury! And I'd know, I've been playing the milk-bottle xylophone since I was 4 years old!

How was that @kymbos?
