Hello, my name is Dark Rowan, and I'm addicted to the sift... It started out simply, with the same video Gorgonheap mentions. I saw linked to a LiveJournal community I subscribe to (ROFLCL). I forget exactly how long I was here before I started posting my first two videos.

I kinda let go of my addiction for a while, which is way it took nearly a year and a half to get to gold >_< But I'm here now and have no want of any other site .

I'm partial to This one but I also voted for the two I liked.

yeah, that's the point, I guess I was misunderstood.

for me, ads are ok, and I understand sift needs them.

only, I can't pay 5$/month, but I'd like to contribute anyway. (such as for LiveJournal where I pay 19$ per year).

and I'd gladly pay, lesser price, AND still have the ads, and no random goodies, no problem. Only, if then I could have only text ads and non-image ads, I'd even uninstall adblock.

Maybe I didn't make myself clear, dunno.

LiveJournal having a problem with embed. I am not familiar enough with code to know what the issue is but I do know LJ has some funkiness with HTML anyway.

EDIT: I'm talking about the embed code on the player button. The usual "embed this" works fine.

the trend some big sites have to get their own IM's is simply dumb, no one is going to use that.

yahoo instant messaging is useless, livejournal's one is useless, myspace's one is a waste of perfectly good bytes.

I knew a family that had two kids, 5 and 7, who were both still breast-feeding. And I'm sorry, but the entire family was fucking weird. Maybe I'm drawing a syllogism, but just sayin' is all.
