Sin city 2: A dame to kill for
Is there a connection between these movies and the Spy Kids movies?
Jar-Jar Binks Finally Dies - Deleted Star Wars Scene
Full story on this? That looked like a real deleted scene, but if it was that would suggest that there was a pretty major script rewrite after filming that bit.
The best explanation I can muster is that it was largely a real deleted scene, but that Jar-Jar actually jumped out in the real version, and this is a fan-made edit that cut out that escape and/or CGI'ed him back into the vehicle as it went over the brink. Or I guess possibly it is all real and they were going to have him meet up with the group again later after miraculous surviving the fall -- gungan reflexes or something (hey, the film has midichlorians, so why the hell not).
If it is a fan-edit, they did one hell of a job, and started from footage I've never seen.
---
EDIT:
I googled around and came up empty. This video and blurbs about it are making the internet rounds, but nobody seems to say anything other than that it is a deleted scene and it was probably cut for "creating too many plot holes"...
That seems like a pretty huge understatement to me. Ignoring the fact that Jar-Jar appears (briefly) in Eps 2 and 3, he plays a pretty major role with a lot of screen time in the Gungans vs Droids portion of the final 3-way battle sequence at the end, which happens well after where this scene would appear in the movie (right?).
Plus, Ep. 1 is very clearly a kids movie, and it would be pretty dark to kill off your comic relief / slapstick character halfway through the movie.
Maybe they had some early warning from focus groups that Jar-Jar was going to be ... not exactly well received and decided to film this just as a joke or even to play it for those focus groups and see their reactions?
Very weird. Not that I mind seeing Jar-Jar die, but I'm quite puzzled by this!
time bandits-return the map-return what you have stolen
definitely the creepiest ending for what many thought to be a kids movie... parents killed in front of him and then credits roll... leaving kids like wtf
Kid tricked into thinking it's morning and time for school
Another reason to learn the 24 hour clock. Also, this prank was in that Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie. Except it was a Saturday I believe.
Kids Lose It Over The Ending Of A "Feel Good" Movie
Would you say E.T. was a feel-good movie? Every kid I know who has ever seen it, including me, has balled their eyes out, but it's still one of the best kid movies ever.
I remember they showed E.T. at my grade school, and all of us had seen it already except one kid. He was slobbering all over himself by the end and expected us to tease him ruthlessly, but we all just told him we'd cried too the first time.

I find his gangsta talk to be legit. I think its the kids movies and fame that aren't authentic or indicative of his upbringing, in the that way his dialect is.
In reply to this comment by Trancecoach:
why does he have to put on that gangsta speak? it's clearly a put-on, and inauthentic at this point... bothers me.
Also, there's a new documentary about the Eames.. and one of my favorite films is a documentary about LA culture as it shows up in movies.

Hopefully.

Keeping things in perspective here, that vid has attracted one vote per year it's been in your pqueue, so you only have to find a replacement and seven votes within the next decade and it'll still be on target for sifting
Anyway once it's gone to the deadpool there's hope someone else will find another source somewhere we haven't thought to look.

Brave - Full Trailer - Disney/Pixar
Meh. I was expecting a come back after the deception that was Car 2. This look like a cookie-cutter kids movie...
Source Code Trailer
Looks like something I'd really enjoy, but goodness gracious the title perturbs the heck out of me.
He's INSIDE the source code? SERIOUSLY?
Source code is just plain old text compiled into a executable program (or executed by an interpreter), not something that someone can be inside. Every time they say "You're IN the source code," I'm just picturing him in a pile of paper with programming language all over it or maybe like they shrunk him down and digitized him so he can walk around on a computer screen inside an editor like Notepad++ or an IDE like Eclipse.
Oh well. They title movies for the masses. This was my same issue with the new Karate Kid movie (which is about a boy learning Kung Fu). Crikey. That's Hollywood for you.
Great Moments in Terrible Movie History!
As a follow-up, I just had an epiphany... the only reason I am arguing about this is for procrastination purposes. It's not like I really care what is said about the damn Garbage Pail Kids Movie. It's just that arguing pointlessly keeps me from having to focus my mind to get this shit on the other screen done. So, apologies if I'm being a hard-on.

I ripped to shreds and tossed your *kids provocation in the recycle bin... that is on the Jennifer Connolly clip I have.
It really is not a kid clip ( via bleeping her words ??? all one has to do is use imagination to insert the blank, therefore filling the blank, therefore saying the word, therefore re-enforcing the cuss word, which sir/mam I do know you not forth appreciate such fuddery) not a kid movie at all, I am watching it as we speak and it is fit for a KID if you consider someone of 13 or older. It is very well done, although it has graphic innuendo , adult themes and would give actual kids say 10 year old, nightmares.
Thank you for you interest.
Garbage - When I Grow Up
Yeah yet another celtic woman I had the hots for.
By the way this song is kind of sexual isnt it? I mean for a sort of kids movie?

Oh, I do go see some kids movies...well, I get them from Netflix. But I certainly don't see them all, as a parent of young kids would.
I just find the implication that anyone who didn't recognize this -one- movie is a cultural know-nothing to be a bit offensive and shallow.

Can you Really be forgiven for not recognizing footage from recent kid films? Are you sure? Well, ok, I forgive you too then. You should still drag yourself to one or two kid films a year, at least...they're really trippy these days.

The footage in the video is from the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie with Johnny Depp from a couple years ago (really? do you kids really know that little about the threadbare culture we have?) ...
A bit harsh, no? I think at 51, I can be forgiven for not recognizing footage from a recent "kids" film... I don't have any kids/grandkids to drag me to them.
