The argument could be made that if this had been buffered by 15 seconds of news speak: "Freestyle motocross star Jeremy Lusk, 24, has died as a result of head injuries sustained in a weekend crash during a competition in Costa Rica, and we warn you these may be disturbing images."

No one would question it. So I think our standard should be basically what a news program would choose to show. This is just the raw feed.

It's not just posted for entertainment (it's not in comedy or anything), the framing of the story is reasonable and the victim is only a victim of his own choice to do a dangerous sport. If he had hit someone else who had died, I would probably not have wanted it here. But as it is, I have no problem with it.

But that's the problem right there.

If it doesn't work and you were doing something stupid (and let's face it, true accidents such as knotted wood catching or mechanical failure probably account for few cases compared to stupidity/complacency), you're going to get injured and it's your fault...

Having the thing fitted reduces your chance of an injury, not removes it. Sorta like wearing a helmet on a motorbike reduces your chances of head injury, but can't protect you against everything.

There's some head injury for you. I had trouble identifying the point where it might have happened, but you can definitely see the effect when he takes on the ref.

Its a magazine, not a clip. I can reload my weapon very smooth at like half a second unstressed. This guy wasn't even stressed out, its a bit harder to reload when people are shooting back.

Before any one freaks out and starts screaming about guns and how they kill people.

1. Guns have no form of appendage to activate the trigger.
2. Having a gun in your house ups your chance to kill you more than some one else.
3. The most causes of childeren killed are killed by guns. That is fallacious more children are killed by head injuries from football than from guns.

I am not a republican, but I do support the constitution and what is written in it.

I know that some of us out there will not change our minds about weapons, and I accept that. I am not a gun nut, I do not collect them. Guns are dangerous and so are my hands.

I took my test, and passed with a 285 out of 300, I know people who carry that cant even do that under stress.

If you have a problem with weapons, take a moment to look around where you are at this instant and see how many things can be used as weapons. Pens, phones, CDs, keyboards, mice, monitors, rolled up news paper. Every thing and any thing can be used as a weapon, come to grips with that reality and realize that the chances of something happening in the USA are very slim. But they are still there, and you have to be ready if you want to stay alive.


Now a topic we can all agree on:
When a gun is not on your person it should be locked up, and hidden from plain sight.

We had a horrible ice storm in the 70's. A girl I knew got hit by a falling branch while walking in from her car and sustained major head injuries.

Sorry dude, but I find nothing redeeming about traumatic head injury.

There is evidence that it goes far deeper than just the government and Bush being behind this. I heard on Art Bell's show that "The Greys" are behind this all, including the Bush presidency.

All the evidence was easily covered up because The Greys technology is far superior to our own and they are also able to wipe people's memories. The reason of course that WTC 7 was destroyed is because it housed physical evidence of The Grey's involvement in many of the worlds affairs.
