That is a bullshit call. The Goaly was way way out of the crease and thats his stupid ass mistake, he got in the way and got ran over.. Bad call on the ref, Completely agree with the guy breaking sticks, you keep putting shit like that on your inside voice and soon enough your bring a gun to games and shooting refs. BEAT THE PISS OUTTA THOSE STICKS, the ref should get counseling.

Context, this appears to be a lot of the game. Watts got kicked out for, intent to injure? Two 5 minute and game misconduct. Something like that. They say the penalty is erroneous, something about the goalie being fair-game because he was outside of the crease, the most Watts should have been penalized for was interference.

That may work on five-feet-tall Japanese goalies...

It really was meh, but I also enjoyed the Switzerland-Canada match. The Swiss goalie was just amazing!

I know nothing about hockey, but I do know this was the most entertaining sport match I have ever witnessed. The canadian offsides calls were a little lacking, but what the hell do I know. The canadian goalie was awesome, she was always set up at a perfect angle to defend the shots on goal. And Julie Chu of the American team was very aggressive, and unwavering despite the quick deficit they had to overcome. I never thought I'd say this but, Thanks Canada. Great sport you created. Hope the Men's match is as entertaining.

Oh and "ouch" on behalf of both players.. that poor goalie's face has a nice knee-shaped dent now

Well the ballboys are usually kids from the area of the hometeam, so he was likely getting a little carried away in trying to help his homeclub Hannover by delaying the gameplay a bit. (It was the 81st Minute and Hannover was up 1:0)
