Should gay people be allowed to marry?
Because we want racist, homophobic, ostensibly "straight" but showing all the signs of being a closeted self loather morons like yourself to suffer under the gay tyranny!!
Change is coming/has come/will keep coming, and there's not a fucking thing you can do about it. You're impotent, flaccid, unable to become erect, a floppy fossil that has already passed in to irrelevance. You can rant and rave and troll to your hearts content, but if you really feel that strongly about it, prepare to be fucking disappointed bitch! ; )
Exactly
What gives the gay agenda the right to impose their " morals" onto others?

3 weird things that domestication did to dogs
I love the floppy ears on my dog (pugalier). It adds to her cuteness. Plus she has no trouble hearing a can being opened from the other side of the house!
Imperial March on 8 floppy drives
This guy went one step further, once the song is complete, the floppies contain the exact blueprints of the deathstar,

Oh man. you're putting me on the spot with that question. I traded 1/2 ownership of a 128mac for my brother's old apple 2 and a shoe box of floppy's. I didn't go through 1/2 of them before I got kicked out of the house and he took it all back. I remember a few text games...hitchhikers guide among them. I think also defender, Montezuma's revenge sounds familiar, Wolfenstien, Beyond Wolfenstien, Cannonball Blitz, Centipede, choplifter, crystal castles, frogger, galaxian, joust, kung fu master, leisure suit larry in the land of the lounge lizards, lode runner, missile defense, moon patrol, qix, tapper, ultima (maybe ultima 2), and zork. That's all I recognize from the list.
What other Apple 2 games did you played? Here's what I played that I could re(member/call): Wings of Fury, Diamond Mine, Kareteka, Montezuma's Revenge, Aztec, Gemstone Warrior, Conan O'Brien (think I submitted it here), Ancient Art of War (a pastor gave me that game haha), Boulder Dash, Champion Ship Lode Runner (finished and got a paper certificate), etc.
Apple Fanboy Since 1983 (Blog Entry by dag)
Excellent Dag. Love me some good old noisy floppy disk noises!
I had a 128 mac my parents bought me for Xmas in 84. I ended up trading it to my brother for his Apple 2 (bought for him when it first came out in the 70's) because he had tons of games for it, and I had little on the mac.
I also learned programming on Apple 2's in 7th grade...an elective summer school class. Does that earn me double nerd points?
Quote hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)
Nice. I do fire-up the Apple II emulator every once in a while. Mainly to hear the sound of the disk drives. A sweet, sweet sound.>> ^ant:

My homemade audio tape scratcher
I did tape scratching in the 90s a lot, with modified reel to reel machine. The technique i used is harder, doesn't differ from vinyl scratching a lot (except in mine, i didn't cut the audio with fader but lifting the tape head from tape. THe end result surprised me, didn't expect it to work as at that point, had no knowledge of anyone ever using that (now i of course know that i was actually late..) It is a lot like vinyl, you still need to keep manually rotating the reels, working with the tape motor, needing to hit hits precisely without actually seeing where they are (easier with reel but there's a lot of tape in that reel and manually rotating against the motor and motion, makes the tape tighten so you can't use marks on the reels either...) Plus few handy effect like taking both reels and just turning them opposite directions, making the tape sits still but stretching, making all kinds of nice screeching sounds as the vibrations from the reel and the tape are heard, not the audio material on tape...)
Next i'm thinking of refitting old 5,4" floppy disk with analog tape head and maybe drawing the recordings on to to it, attaching the tape head to the end of my index finger.. Then i could get even closer to vinyl as there is something interesting on rotating sound sources.. Mainly it is the recording part that makes tape scratching interesting, taking a scratch sample, scratching it, resampling it again, using signal generators, designing harmonics etc.. Maybe that's next for me, using one hand to record and the other to play back.
Wow, that sounds way better than I expected it. This guy, who admits to being a newb at scratching, is sounding better than about 98% of all DJs who scratch. Maybe we're seeing 1970's technology finally surpassing 1930s tech.
Last Week Tonight with John Oliver: Nuclear Weapons
I don't think Oregon Trail game was on 8.5" floppy disks. 5.25" yes.
Those floppies are just another layer of security. At some point, everyone trained in their use will have croaked and there will be ones less capability to reduce entire peoples to pink mist.

Metroid theme on 8 floppy drives
One of these days I should send one of my unused floppy drive to these guys. Then I can point and say "Look! That's my floppy drive that I sent!"
What happens if you reverse sex roles in advertising?
I only upvoted because I'm a sexist pig (titties!). The video fails in two points.
1. The nerdy guy in the second ad isn't hot by any definition (sorry dude) but the nerdy girl is just an attractive woman wearing glasses. Is it really so hard to find an ugly woman? Seriously, can we please stop that stupid idea that glasses make people ugly? And no, I don't wear any.
2. Why do men look ridiculous in these ads and womwen don't? What a stupid question.
Imagine a very attractive woman wearing nothing but knee high socks posing in different ways. Most of these possible poses will look more or less sexual/sexy, a few vulgar and even fewer acrobatic/weird. There will very, very, very few poses where she's going to look stupid.
Now imagine a very attractive man wearing nothing but knee high socks posing the same way. How many poses can you picture in your mind until you reach one that looks ridiculous? How many can you imagine that don't look ridiculous at all?
And now, for the extra challenge, imagine the guy having a huge erection. Yep, it get's harder (not an intended pun).
The male body with it's floppy dong is as naturally ridiculous as the female body is naturally sexy. It's very deeply ingrained in our human minds. That's why most jokes about homosexuality make make men their butt (yes, that pun was intended and I think it's pure genius, thankyouverymuch).
"Eye of the Tiger" on a dot matrix printer
Ahh sift.. you are so easily entertained. I figured after the past decade of making drive components from hard and floppy drives and scanners make music, something like a printer would be old hat by now.
Tainted Love on Hard Drives - No Clever Title Included
Disappointed to find they're mostly floppy drives, for a minute I thought I had finally figured out where all my old porn drives went.
