Neither of the Saturday Night Live video embeds are working for me here (Firefox). I can watch them directly on the NBC site. Are they working for anyone?

This must be a problem with your internet connection, or a temporary down of YT (less likely). The vid works fine for me in any case.
In reply to this comment by khattakgul:
I dont know why, when I click on the video to run, it responds with the following!
------------------------------------------------------------------
The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
So, please let me know, why it is so.

Forced to watch a 15-second commercial for a one minute video is bullshit, imho.
AND, reloading the video to watch it again brings yet another 15-second commercial.
Firefox with Ad Block Plus add-on.
(Of course I never use it to block the ads on Videosift.)
How to Make YouTube Run Faster (Geek Talk Post)
The best change I've made of late is defecting to Chrome. I just need the speed and responsiveness that isn't there (at the moment) on Firefox. Plus Chrome seizes up far less.

A few things to try...
- Use Firefox or Chrome as your browser and install an ad-block extension.
- Regardless of the browser you use always make sure flash is updated.
- Try clearing the browser temp files.
I am sure this has all been said before but you never know
Yep, I already do that. FYI, new Flash version came out a couple days ago.

TED Talks: Track Your Trackers
I installed the addon and used it for a little while now. There are no pink dots yet and only one gray dot. I have Ghostery and BetterPrivacy installed. Ghostery blocks the trackers, and BetterPrivacy deletes any tracking cookies that managed to sneak through when I close Firefox.
