Testing My Speech Jammer In Public

Toxicity (System of a Down) Halloween Light and Fire Show

eric3579 says...

He mentions that he's on 20 acers and there are five neighbors in a two mile area. I doubt the lights are fired up that often. I'm guessing it's more for the love of designing the light show and sharing in his videos.

Groovy, but I’m sure glad these aren’t my neighbors.

Ivermectin Is Now OK To Treat COVID

dedstick says...

Dammit Bob, I respect your right to express your (IMO) idiotic political ideas but as the Newt stated above, spreading dangerous public health misinformation is another story. This is pure horseshit!
God I hate trolls, and I'm trying to give you the benefit of the doubt here.

Let's talk about the Trump Georgia indictment contents....

newtboy says...

Bwaaahahahaha! Really triggered today, aren’t we? 😂 keep those tears coming, so yummy.

Robert Gouveia Esq….😂 was he disbarred? His legal theories are INSANE. I’ve told you before, you need to learn to vet sources, not just listen to failed lawyers that now run a YouTube propaganda channel from mommy’s basement. I looked at his videos, he’s an absolute nutjob and liar that makes up the most insulting lies and feeds them to you.….just your speed. No wonder you believe such stupid nonsense constantly, looking at his videos if you believe him reality suddenly makes no sense at all. Holy sheep shit, you can’t figure out he’s a nut just from his previous videos? 😂 SUCKER! You’ll buy any stupid lie from the stupidest liars, won’t you. 🤦‍♂️

That’s the best response you’ve got. Someone in the office typed up the expected indictment and accidentally posted their copy for a moment instead of hitting “save” shortly before the grand jury was finished!? ROTFLMFAHS!! You should just stop trying, bewby. More grasping at nothingburgers….how’s that working out for you? 😂

Nice that even you have admitted that at least SOME of the serious anti American vote fraud charges against the rapist Trump are warranted (if only most are only “probably just BS to rack up numbers for fools like you to drink up.”, then even in your damaged mind some are not BS). I remind you, if only ONE is proven, Trump the rapist is going to prison and will die there….but hide and watch, all will be proven. There’s no doubt at all that they did the crimes, it’s all on video, and thanks to RICO, that’s it, all guilty. 😂

Cocaine Found In West Wing

moonsammy says...

I'm not going to trust some random site you linked that I've never heard of before, so I researched the issue myself. From what I can tell, Hunter was there on Tuesday for July 4th celebrations, and the Secret Service had found cocaine in a heavily-trafficked area of the West Wing on Sunday the 2nd. The president was out of town late Friday until Tuesday. So cocaine was found two days before Joe and Hunter were on site, in a part of the building which regularly hosts tour groups (particularly on weekends), and through which staff frequently transits. I doubt Hunter can time-travel (or has time-traveling cocaine), and if he does then you and I are waaaaay out of our league here - this is superhero business. If I've the basic facts incorrect please do let me know, I didn't spend more than 10 minutes reading up on this.

But, for the sake of argument: let's say the current president's adult son visited during a publicized, well-attended event, and accidentally left some illegal narcotics in a restroom. What would that actually imply, as a worst-case scenario, about Joe Biden? So far as I can tell, it shows he's willing to continue having a relationship with his adult child in spite of that child's known (and perhaps continued) character / behavior flaws. The teachings of Jesus make it clear that we should treat those around us with love, even the very flawed. None of what the news is describing, even as a worst-case, feels like a problem in any way - there are no implications pertaining to public policy, foreign policy, or nepotism. Perhaps there should be legal consequences for Hunter (or whoever left the cocaine there), but it hardly reflects on Joe.

You only heard about this cocaine because it plays into an existing, nonsensical narrative currently being pushed by right-wing media bullshitters. Namely, Joe's son Hunter has had drug problems, and some weird business entanglements, and that all somehow implies Joe is dirty. I'm extremely concerned about official corruption, so I absolutely would want to know if any were occurring - but the evidence pertaining to Hunter/Joe having any shady backroom dealings together is extremely thin on the ground.

Bob, have you given anywhere near this level of scrutiny or mental time to the question of why Donald's son-in-law received $2,000,000,000 from the Saudis? I feel that's actually worth knowing, particularly given that Jared very clearly DID have the former President's ear on policy matters, and WAS regularly present in the White House outside of big public events. But I've a hunch you care less about getting to the bottom of that obvious massive corruption, than the identity of the scoundrel who sullied the immaculate Administrative Palace with (I'm guessing) petty misdemeanor quantities of magic nose dust.

Orlando Police Believe They’re Above The Law

newtboy says...

I really would agree….but only if that goes for everyone. No need to ever do a high speed chase or felony stop if you have the license and a photo of the driver….but that’s not how they operate.

Guaranteed if that wasn’t a cop, gun would be drawn, hands would go on, cuffs would go on, and in most cases feet would go into belly too for disrespecting their authority and trying to run. In no world would they be as calm and non confrontational with the public. I got all but the foot in the belly because a cop read my license plate wrong once, couldn’t tell a “5” from an “S”, then threatened me with unspecified retaliation if I complained…he said remember he had my address now if I cause him any trouble over this.

My point is the “good cop” gave the bad criminal cop treatment he never would give a citizen…if he did he would lose his job. It’s the preferential treatment I’m upset about. Criminal cops should be treated like the worst, most violent and vile criminal, because they are. Instead, they’re treated with kid gloves, given every benefit of a doubt and then some, and are given free vacation time on those few occasions they have anything at all happen for violating the law and the public trust. It’s an incredibly rare thing when the entire department doesn’t stand behind, and in front of shielding blatantly abusive criminal cops and attacking/harassing any accusers, which is chilling for any that might want to be “good cops”.

Why wouldn’t it be the right thing to do to let a violent aggressive and reckless speeder (in this case he was guilty of reckless evading, a felony) who is armed just scream at the cop and drive away? Because that’s shirking their duty to enforce the law. Have you ever heard of them doing any such thing (when it wasn’t one of their own)?

Opposing Forcing The Ten Commandments In Public Schools

moonsammy says...

I want to expand on this bit. This right here is from the Treaty of Tripoli, which as newtboy noted was ratified unanimously a mere 10 years after the signing of the Constitution. Treaties are part of the "Supreme Law of the Land" and are not just happy words between diplomats - they've the full weight and support of the US legal system behind them.

So VERY CLEARLY, the early politicians of the US had absolutely ZERO objection to the notion that this is NOT a Christian nation. It is secular, beyond a shadow of a doubt. Any claims to the contrary are absurd revisionist history.

Awesome! I wanna see.

Just like this, or the single piece version? This, as far as I can tell, is just a realistic 3d render of something he hasn’t made (yet). I like the double helix effect.

That must have cost them quite a pretty penny. The artist has the shape copywritten and trademarked I believe, both the physical and digital versions, and he sells the regular 30cm tall tabletop version for $1900.00!

I hope your neighbor didn’t copy his design without paying him a royalty, that could get really expensive.

my only thought is they can only "save face" at this point and it would require a regime change along with a dramatic shift in policy towards the west and profuse apologies. doubt that will happen so im fully prepared to live out my remaining life watching ruzzia become a giant failed pariah state. the west will beat them into submission again.

I wonder how it’s even possible for Russia to “win” even if they take 100% of Ukraine, which seems impossible itself. It looks far more likely they’re about to lose Crimea.

Burden of Proof | Chilling One-Take about an Abusive Ex

newtboy says...

That was the point to me. That, absent video evidence or a rape kit, only a clear unambiguous confession meets the burden of proof, and she didn’t get it despite the dangerous position she put herself in to get a confession.
I doubt a DA would prosecute on this irl.
In a jury trial it might be enough for conviction, they’re notoriously difficult to predict, but not a non-jury trial.

I think maybe a temporary restraining order could be acquired in America with this evidence, but not permanent….just my opinion though.

All of these evidence, what are they worth legally? Is this at least sufficient to get a perma restraining order on him?

Trump Media and Technology Group as of late last year has been under investigation for potentially being involved in a Russian money laundering scheme.
Toth Senchal was hemorrhaging money, and had a year wait before their planned (now cancelled) merger, so Trump went begging to Russia.
2 Caribbean banks owned in large part by a Putin ally and Russian oligarch loaned Toth Senchal $8 million…the company’s CFO warned at the time this was Russian money coming from sanctioned Russians and should be returned but they couldn’t afford to give it back so they fired the CFO instead…he’s talking.
This IS a CRIMINAL investigation, with DJT and little Jr both listed as CEO, both signed off on these loans from Putin. Just one more criminal case involving MAGA selling influence to Russia.

Bonus- Georgia criminal grand jury interviews sound disastrous for Trump.
“A lot’s going to come out sooner or later and it’s going to be massive. It’s gonna be massive.”
“If every person in America knew every word of the information we knew, this country would not be divided as it is right now.”
“I became more jaded about American politics when it became clear some witnesses would say one thing about the election under oath then casting doubt on the system when they returned to the campaign trail sometimes hours later.”
Not what you want to hear as a defendant in America’s most massive election fraud ever, the big lie.

Because I’m pretty sure you didn’t look up Larry Householder and Matt Borges…

https://www.justice.gov/usao-sdoh/pr/jury-convicts-former-ohio-house-speaker-former-chair-ohio-republican-party

The government proved beyond a reasonable doubt at trial that Householder and his enterprise conspired to violate the racketeering statute through honest services wire fraud, receipt of millions of dollars in bribes and money laundering.
The conspiracy involved nearly $61 million in bribes paid to a 501(c) entity to pass and uphold a billion-dollar nuclear plant bailout.

More MAGA corruption from the base to the top, selling out the people for cash. It’s what your party is all about. More MAGA convictions than every other party combined in the countries history, serious thought and effort put into dissolving the United States, and an attempted coup…and MAGA is only 7 years old.

Bonus- Top MAGA Republican backer and Steve Bannon partner and friend “Guo Wengui” was just arrested and criminally charged for engaging in a $1 billion fraudulent investment scheme.
And sweet zombie Jeebus, seems CPAC was proudly sponsored by “the new federalist state of China”, the CCP. Weird that today’s Republican Party is chummy with and in awe of Putin and Xi and despise American government and democracies.

How A Brick & Rock Battery Is Changing Energy Storage

spawnflagger says...

yeah, since efficiency is usually a measure of how much energy is lost to heat, should be 0% vs 100%... but, marketing.

I also doubt they are using aerogel or cryostats insulation to surround hot bricks. (or maybe that's why 1 container costs $9M?)

Matt (and team) from Undecided almost never approach their videos with a critical eye. Many startups' claims can be debunked with high school physics, but they just present everything as-is and with good production value. I consider their channel more entertainment than education, but still interesting to see some of the ideas out there.

newtboy said:

Ok. I like the concept….thermal mass as short term heat storage/release is a well established science.

Sadly calling bullshit when they claim converting electricity to heat is 100% efficient. Nothing is 100% efficient.
They also claim 98% efficiency “pulling the heat back out”…unbelievably high.
Noticeably missing were heat loss rates, both for capture and storage over time…both expected to be extremely high at temperatures of 1500C.

The second system boasting 80% efficiency (but why burning wood?) is more realistic, but the only 3% heat loss per day at 500C temperatures claim is not. No insulation I’ve ever heard of is that efficient.

Recycling industrial manufacturing heat seems smart, but I think they need to be honest up front about the real world expectations and uses. If it could cut the energy needed to bake limestone or melt steel in half, that’s great…please don’t imply it could cut it by anything approaching 97%. That makes me not trust it at all.

EMTs charged with murder

It would also be s.o.p. To bring a bag in with you. To take pulse, bp, and oxygen level. And administer oxygen. But I don’t see she even has such bag. Her partner stays outside. And I still don’t see any bag. Which is odd.
Normally, the 2 would enter together with a basic care bag. Take basic stats, give oxygen and determine what care is needed. Then remove him. Together. But the man stayed outside. That is all going to look very bad if there is a trial. Other professional medics are going to destroy these 2. If this goes to trial.

It would be possible and common that he is having a blood sugar reaction. It can look just like that. If they are medics ,which I doubt , that can be very easily and quickly fixed with a paste they put in their mouth. People recover very quickly. I have seen it many times. But they bring no bag that I see.
