Making snow cones out of snow (New York Blizzard edition)
I guess it's a matter of perspective. Yeah, using authoritative power to detain people in order to ask about their car because the officer is a car enthusiast is kind of a dick move, but I don't know what law they're breaking. I'd rather that than a speeding ticket. It also makes an opportunity to make a friend on the inside....
Except cops that pull you over, just to look at your cool car, ARE being dicks. I wonder what other laws they decide don't apply to them.
Kids Getting A Nice View Of The Milf Neighbor's Breasts
Total dick move.
Why did the camera cut away?
Why Tipping Should Be Banned
Tipping while not "mandatory" in the US it is seen as a dick move to not tip even if you think the service was bad. Mainly because in most states servers are paid far less than min. wage. I believe the govt assumes all tips are paid and taxes their income on that assumption.
Also as mentioned most restaurants will automatically charge a min 18% tip to the bill for parties over 6-8 people.
Ellen Dance Dare Gone Wrong- With Cops
I can't tell who's comment you're referencing with your first comment. I hope not me, cops are all individuals in my eyes, even if it may not seem like it sometimes because they are also a 'team'.
I see your comment as an issue of respect needing to be earned, and also being a two way street. When police over react, or act disrespectfully insulting to a perceived insult (even actual insult), it denies them the respect tomorrow that they are upset about not receiving today. I think most of us expect them to be the professional in any situation and understand they just have to deal with some assholes, not devolve to the level of those they are disgusted by. EDIT: People in many professions have to deal with dicks daily, but only one profession typically responds with indignant violence.
I did see the mans dancing as a dick move, just not one that deserved the reaction it received. A stern "HEY! Get the fuck out of here!" would have done nicely from the cop in the van, and may have earned some respect instead of losing some.
I agree with your last statement, but let's think, who got smacked?
Again, assuming that all cops act this way. Untrue.
It's their daily grind that wears down the humanity. Lot of nutcases and truly dangerous people live in NYC, the progressive paradise. Cops have to deal with them everyday and don't assume you would be any different under the same circumstances.
You can only turn the other cheek so many times. If someone smacked you in the face, even lightly, then again, and again and again, eventually your pacifism would evaporate and you would strike out with everything in you.
Ferguson Police Acted as Revenue Agents, Fining Everything
I don't know how it's handled in the rest of the country but here in Minnesota people drive in the far left lane all the time, and in 20+ years of driving I've never been ticketed for it. Sounds like one of those laws on the books that nobody bothers to enforce because just about everyone realizes it's stupid. So if the state decides to suddenly start enforcing it tomorrow is it legal? Sure, but it's still a dick move and more about increasing revenue than public safety.
Wedding Fails and Mishaps
The exploding wedding cake in the beginning was not so much a "fail" but more just a dick move.
Speaking your mind under anesthesia
My first thought was that I would definitely post this on youtube if it was me. Then I read down and found out she wasn't the one posting and didn't want it shown.
Dick move bro.
*WTF ? Who would let someone put that on youtube?
Bill Murray crashes Bachelor Party and gives Marriage Advice
Not really a dick move at all. He didn't say this is the only way you can validate a marriage. He basically just said, if you get through a hyper stressful situation with your partner, don't worry about the trivial stuff you'll deal with day to day.
I think a lot of people getting married have already experienced something like this and it's likely one of many reasons they're getting married. So the advise is pretty lightweight, really saying something like that I actually think is pandering to the couple.
Sure there's always a chance you're going to offend some one but you know, in this case, if this scenario seems dreadful to you, it might be worth thinking about your choices a little longer.
I said he's drunk and rambling and it's a dick move to say something like that out loud at a party for someone who's about to get married. Do you disagree with what I actually said?

Uhhh, I'd disagree wholeheartedly, Bill's is some sound fucking advice, man-If you can travel the world with someone (at least a solid two months) and still have the passion and desire to wanna spend your life with em', you have picked the right person.
Sage advice from a man-of-the-world.

Rambling drunk dick move. Who says something like that at a party for a guy who's getting married in a week or two?
Emily's Abortion Video
This.
I have to admit I started watching the video and switched it off almost immediately. I simply have no desire to see this.
I don't like abortion. I don't think anyone does. I'm 100% glad it's legal though, because until you're in that situation, you can't judge.
@enoch, a question (and feel free to tell me it's none of my business): You say don't condemn, but if the child was yours, would it be the end of the relationship for you? I've often wondered about this myself. I don't want kids, but I think I'd struggle if my wife got pregnant and wanted an abortion. Part of me feels that it's the ultimate dick move to abandon someone you love at one of the lowest points of their life, but equally, I'm not sure I could live with it.
I actually don't get her decision to film her abortion. I don't get why anyone would want to make something so private so public. But my approval is not a requirement, she could care less what VoodooV thinks, and rightly so.
Cell Phone Crashing At The Airport!
It would be funny if he was actually annoying people who were being a bother to others and deserved it, but those people were all speaking at a very acceptable volume. He was just screwing with them for no reason and that's just a sophomoric dick move, especially for an older guy who should have more respect for society and himself. Just desperate for YT views I guess.
Best fight entry EVER!!
Total dick move in any event. So brave drop kicking a guy from behind.
@JimmyKimmel @KanyeWest Feud
Yer, a pretty dick move to quote a guys random insanity directly....
I'm no fan of Kayne, but Kimmel's kind of a petty knob for this, appealing for the easy laughs.
Guy gets screwed out of 1 million $ on Wheel of Fortune.
Generally, I would agree with you, but not in this context and not to this degree. Every region in American has their own little dialect and is commonly accepted.
The point of the game is to figure out what the phrase is. The parts of the phrase he supposedly mis-pronounced were already revealed so it's not an issue of him trying to "guess" his way through the game.
same with the southern woman. The G she dropped in swimming was already revealed on the board, so to harp on that particular part of the word was bullshit. gee she said "swimmin'" what other word could she have possibly meant?
had the contestants been trying to mumble their way through some part of the phrase that hadn't been revealed, I would be on WoF's side, but that clearly is not the case.
It was a dick move on their part, probably motivated by not wanting to award prize money. end of story.
What's next? They going to screw over someone with a heavy Boston accent? I guess they screen out anyone with a foreign accent if they are that anal about pronunciation. Guess Joe Pesci won't ever be a celebrity contestant.
To be fair pronunciation does matter, otherwise people could see a gap of letters, not know what the words is and slosh some syllables over the missing parts claiming dialect or some such shit. What he said sounded like pure garbage to me.
