Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - Official Trailer 2

poolcleaner says...

Why does it have to be Doomsday? Can't that be the NEXT movie?! Why merge these events? WHY GOD! *mutilates his body* I can't stop. the. cutting. You're LITERALLY killing me, guys.

And not to confuse lines made by vigilantes from other current movie trailers but Doomsday looks like "an avocado had sex with an older avocado." AKA a ballsack.

So wrist cutting and avocado ballsack. Oh look, it's badly CGI'd Wonder Woman. I have never been so inspired to look up porn of Wonder Woman being double teamed by Batman and Superman.

Why won't you take off your mask, Bruce?

I dunno, why won't you wear these glasses while I cum on your face, Clark?

You're supposed to cum on Diana's face, Bruce!

No way, boys, you're my bitches tonight. (Hint: The strap on of truth.)

Where is Dick Grayson in all of this? Locked in the gimp box.

His name is Josh Clark and he was inspired by the Blue Man Group. He's a busker. Some buskers are homeless, some not, and some start out homeless and then get record deals and worldwide acclaim -- like Moondog.

Moondog looked like a wizard viking and once conducted the Brooklyn Philharmonic. He invented the instrument known as the trimba.

so... is that a former blue man group member? Or is that a homeless blue man group family member?

And I'm loathe to admit it's one the few Clarke books I haven't read.

Without knowing the story, this already feels like they're going to make it more dramatic than thoughtful. I could be wrong though.

That said, if we must have alien overlords, it only seems fitting that Tywin Lannister would be their voice.

Childhood's End is the first, and - I loathe to admit - at this point the sole, Arthur C. Clarke book I have read.
It struck a chord in me so deep I hesitate to pick up another of his works for fear of no longer being able to function in modern society.

Wesley Clark reveals on MSNBC : TPTB want to put you in a KZ

I guess that means, according to Clark, we ARE at war with Islam, making any Muslim an 'enemy'.
I also must guess that Clark has missed the part where America is embarrassed and guilt ridden for it's actions against loyal German/Americans and Japanese/Americans in WW2, but he still thinks preemptive internment is not only acceptable, but the preferred method.

I have an idea that will solve his problems with Radical Islam, let's just outlaw all religion and inter anyone caught practicing it. Sounds like a plan to me.

Yeah, black Heimdall is indeed weird. It's somehow the reverse to what the did with the casting of the Last Airbender movie. However, Idris Elba does a very goiod job with what he got.
I for one thought Clark Michael Duncan as Kingpin was the best thing about the Dare Devil movie and many complained about that. From a physical standpoint, he is still the best choice but sadly, he can't compete with D'Onofrio's version when it comes to the acting and writing. That Kingpin is so far the best realised Marvel villian since Loki.
Why are we discussing comicbook movies again?

I must say, black Heimdall bothered me, and I thought they did it super racistly because Heimdall is described as having gleaming golden teeth.
I mean, what's up with that?
(oooo-oooweee, what's up with that, what's up with that)

Payphone, What's A Payphone?

The Kryptonian Mind Raper, standard issue personal retcon. It's like an emp blastwave except that it gives everyone within a mile radius crippling anxiety and false memories of rape and/or molestation.

Now Superman can change wherever he likes and no one is gonna say shit. Just slinging his super dickery dock around whenever and where ever he pleases without fear. Like dad after the midlife crisis.

The sight of Superman causes the afflicted to obey all commands, urinate uncontrollably, and even with 100 years of therapy and behavioral analysis, they will NEVER betray his most secreted lifestyle as Clark Kent, mild mannered asexual prick.

It's really an awful technology but it's either that or Superman has to be Superman all the time. Or he has to locate a photobooth or retro arcade with the Jurassic Park machine -- Para Paradise might work, but he would have to mask his intent by flapping his arms around wildly.

It just occurred to me, where does Clark Kent change into Superman these days? Maybe he's got an app.

Red Band Trailer - "Vacation"

Mordhaus says...

Here is the thing, for it's time, the original Vacation was incredibly crude. Same for European Vacation and so on.

I mean think about it, in the original they were tagged by people in the ghetto, clark was continually trying to flirt and almost cheat on his wife, animal cruelty by tying the dog to the car and driving off, turning the aunt's body to the car and then dropping her off like a UPS package, and it culminated with a terrorist attack by clark on the security guard of wally world.

I hate to break it to you, but if you grew up during that time period, the movie was damn crude and damn funny. This, if it is done correctly is going to be hilarious as well. I figuratively laughed my ass off when I saw the Ferrari driver get creamed.

I really don't know how racist a person can be if they admire people like Ben Carson, Walter Williams, Thomas Sowell, Sheriff David Clarke, Allen West, Clarence Thomas, etc.

See, it's not about skin color, it's about shared values.

I criticize Obama, not because of his skin color, but because I don't share his values. Put Allen West in there, and I'll vote for him twice.
