It makes me sad that some people do not think audiosifts have a place on videosift.

I understand because it's not actually "video", but I think they're fine. I like the original song, but I probably never would have heard this version without it being on sift.

Thanks, Ollie! I'm itunesing it now. There were four there, but now I see the others were EP's and Various Artist contributions. Love those Blogotheque sifts.

The only one so far - For Emma, Forever Ago! He spent 3 months recording it out in the woods of Wisconsin, and it's amazing. I don't have it myself but I've heard almost all the tunes off of it. Definitely would recommend it. And call me Ollie!

Hey EndAll. Do you have a recommendation for which Bon Iver record I should get?

Sailboat Crew. Still do. Norfolk, VA to Bermuda in May. Can't wait. I can stare at empty sea forever.

Haha! That worked out then, eh. Interesting story to it. So you worked on a boat back then? EndAll was just what I pulled out of my arse when I was signing up here. No meaning behind it, really. I often use the username "intrinsick" on other sites, though.

When I was a young man I was nicknamed "smiley", which the Skipper, a kind of Bogart-ish character, pronounced "schmi-wee" and then finally to "shmaw-ee", because of the lucky strike that was perpetually in the corner of his mouth. You never had much choice in what you were called, and I was fortunate because I liked it.

And End-All?

Much love, schmawy!

Where'd that name originate, anyways?
