Incredible Leopard Kill Caught On Camera
I love it when big cats jump and do stuff in the air.
The Lion and the Croc

Crocodiles are afraid of lions? Whoa. That blows my mind.
There's a video out there of a jaguar drowning a crocodile. Just grabs it and pins it under the water. Big cats are not to be fucked with.
Lion tells it like it is.

I'm not sure, but I've heard this is captivity stress/anxiety; that big cats do not normally do this in the wild.
Last year I went to a zoo for the first time since I was a kid and every big cat in the place was doing this. It was really hard to enjoy myself when so many animals were apparently miserable.
We barely have any understanding of human psychology. Hard to believe anyone can tell when lions are feeling stressed.

First Person View Of A Lion Encounter
Race car drivers, sky divers, scuba divers, high voltage line repair guys, anyone who works around machinery, tree trimmers, .......etc. Lots of jobs out there can kill you in freak ways that no matter how much you prepare you'll still die. And none of the stuff you're working on will protect you either when those things happen.
At least with an animal, if you're in a pack of them one going nuts might end up being the pack of them on you or the others protecting you. A lot like groups of people...once you get enough people together, one guy doing something stupid go either way. More people joining in or people quashing it.......
Think it'd be cool, especially if you raised them....you could probably tell more easily WTF is up with a big cat than WTF up with your teenage daughter.
Pumkinandstorm has reached RUBY!! (Canada Talk Post)
Catasstrophy is what she deserves. Big Cat Ass Trophy!!
Hooray for the power of the fuzzy pussy!! We like you shorn pussies as well-no hair, no care
Big Cats versus/vs. Easter Eggs!
That guy who dressed in a bunny suit appears to enjoy living on the edge. I think Big Cat Rescue does a spectacular job with their "charges". Too bad they have to be in business in the first place though.
Christmas Tree Massacre By Big Cats!

cute!
DOH! I forgot and thanks, cute *issykitty.
Up Close and Personal with Mountain Lion
0:25, that looks a lot like a cat getting ready to pounce. At that distance, if it did, there's no way he'd have got a shot off. Big cats a so beautiful, but they really are built to kill. It's an interesting reminder that although as a race we are top predators, one on one can be a different story...

Wait, do you mean it isn't some big cat toy?
Of course it is, don't be silly!

Hate isn't too strong a word to describe my feelings toward zoos.
I'm game. Why's that then?
If their captivity is for, say, a breeding programme, then that may be justified. But to keep them for us to gawk at is, to my mind, unnecessary and cruel. Animals, especially the larger ones like bears and big cats, can be seen rocking psychotically and displaying unnatural behaviour. We no longer condone circuses that use animals, and we shouldn't condone birds in cages (so cruel). I only ask, do we actually need zoos? If they purport to be for educational purposes, I would point to the wealth of brilliant, and beautiful, wild life documentaries out there, which show these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.
Interesting article over here http://animals.howstuffworks.com/animal-facts/zoos-good-or-bad.htm
Seems to be a bit of a mixed bag. Some animals like elephants do very badly in zoos, but they seem to be improving.

Oh Pandas, you Rock!
Man, I hate zoos. I've seen so many bears, big cats, apes etc, that show all the signs of psychosis, locked in a fake environment for us to gawk at. This poor animal is no exception.
