North America’s Building Trades Unions is endorsing President Biden for 2024, and the union is out with a new ad slamming former President Trump for giving them lip service but doing absolutely nothing he promised the union when he met with them in 2017. Didn’t protect their jobs, didn’t protect their pensions, didn’t level out trade deficits, never invested in infrastructure….it was all empty promises he never intended and was incapable of following through on, just like every promise he’s ever made.
Conversely, Biden saved their pensions, invested in infrastructure, and as a result not only saved their jobs but created hundreds of thousands more…and did not lie to them about his plans to get their votes!
Trump has said he intends to abuse the power of the office to exact revenge against the well over half of America that doesn’t support him, and become a dictator on day 1 (no dictator has ever willingly abdicated their position, Trump wouldn’t be the first).

Again, no one showed up to his trial after he again begged his supporters to protest for him…only 6 people today in the empty space in front of the courthouse set aside for protestors exactly where he claims they aren’t allowed to be.

He’s terrified because on Monday “his” properties begin being seized. He has filed in court insisting it’s impossible for him to even get a bond for his judgement and can’t pay it so needs a stay or massive reduction, begging the court for leniency and mercy, and at the same time ranting on social media that he has $500 million in cash he could put up but he just doesn’t want to, the court is all corrupt and playing political games not applying laws, and he’s publicly thumbing his nose at them.
What do you think the court is going to do with that? 😂

It all crashes down Monday, when everything he owns gets seized and it’s still not enough to cover his debts, much less his upcoming multi million dollar legal bills from 4 criminal cases. It’s hilarious people believed he was so rich, thinking anything his name was on is his…it’s not. Even the few properties he “owns” are really usually owned 90-95% by banks or partners. My understanding is he has a $25 million mortgage on MarALago that’s only worth $18 million unincumbered! Guaranteed it’s not alone being underwater. Even at full face value, his NY properties won’t cover the debt. He really need Putin to rescue him….ain’t gonna happen.

Don is losing it, knowing his entire net worth isn’t as much as he owes. Even using all his assets as collateral he can’t get a loan, maybe stiffing and cheating all those banks for decades wasn’t the best idea. Maybe inflating his net worth by 100-1000 times wasn’t the best idea. Maybe refusing to admit the frauds and settle despite the summary judgement wasn’t the best idea. Maybe hiring the worst lawyers in American history wasn’t the best idea. He has 4 days.

It begs the question…who actually owns his properties? We don’t know, but it’s not him. Who, exactly, is he beholding to, and what sway did they have while he was president? We know the Saudis own properties with and do business with him, and Russians. Almost certainly the Chinese too. Who else? Does who’s paying a politician and for what only matter for Biden but not Don?
Hilariously, when asked the total softball question “Is Don was looking to foreign countries like Saudi Arabia or China for help paying his judgement” instead of just saying “no, obviously not, he’s running for president and couldn’t do that owing a foreign country 1/2 billion dollars.” she instead declined to answer. HORRIFIC for the campaign.

Edit: Huzzah! The brand new this hour expanded powers of the financial monitor cover this eventuality, she must be informed 30 days before the execution of any transfers, purchases, sales, loan applications, bonds, basically any movement of money by the trumps (all of them)…for 3 years. This means he can’t get a foreign power or billionaire to pay his debt without disclosing it publicly. Any attempt by any Trump to circumvent the order is a violation and means prison.

Note, if he was correct that his properties were really worth 100 to 1000 times what he claims for tax purposes he would have no problem at all selling just one for way more cash than he needs, but he can’t. Why can’t he? Because 1) they are not worth more than the tax evaluations and 2) all his properties are already mortgaged to the hilt…he doesn’t own them the banks/business partners/foreign governments do. Most famously Trump tower that he only owns his apartment, a few offices, and the public lobby bathrooms, not the entire building by far….and that’s not an outlier it’s the norm.
So satisfying to watch a vitriolic con man get caught and taken down…don’t you think?

Trump has a new defense….he didn’t declassify the documents he stole but that’s fine, because he still has full top secret clearance and once Mar a Lago was a temporary SCIF (with now removed security measures and personnel), so leaving the top secret classified state secrets in ballrooms and hallways open to the public, photographed by the public, is a nothingburger. The problem, 1) he does NOT still have presidential level clearance, he lost it on Jan 20 and 2) the temporary SCIF designation was dissolved well before 2020. Might work with Cannon, his lackey, but will fall flat on appeal.
His only lawyer is happy to say she’s glad she’s pretty instead of smart because she’s so dumb she thinks she can fake being smart, but she can’t. Not good when your lawyer stands up in court and says “Your Honor, I don’t know how to try this case.” Her objections are nonsensical, not on topic, and have already annoyed the judge, on cross she just started reading tweets that had not been entered as evidence, and when asked what she was doing she answered “I’m trying to get it in.” (but Trump was too small to find under his gut) at which point the judge recessed the case so Trump’s lawyer could remind herself of how to enter evidence in a court, because she has no idea how courts work! After the recess she did the exact same thing, then begged the judge “well, what do I do?” And he had to stop the trial and explain the procedure for presenting evidence in a court to Trump’s legal team…BECAUSE THEY HAD NO IDEA HOW! THEN SHE DID IT AGAIN…JUST STARTED READING A TRANSCRPIT NOT IN EVIDENCE! He is livid at this lack of competence, decorum, knowledge, and intelligence coming from the entire defense side, not smart to make the judge an enemy….and it doesn’t create an automatic appeal just because you made the judge dislike you. Imagine if that was all it takes.
She’s going to be disbarred, but she got the fame she was after and her legal career was non existent before Trump so she won’t care…but will try to make you care enough to send her cash. You probably will. 😂
