Merit? I don't think so. I guess it is an historical record (on tape) of what happened... but other than that there is no purpose other than to watch some guy commit a shocking act. The other vid (man getting beaten from 1984), which is probably snuff (though unconfirmed as to whether or not the man in the vid actually died), was allowed in that it was to stir up a cold case into looking for the perpetrator(s) and seek justice for the apparent abuse/beatdown/ murder that (allegedly) took place. Same case could be made for the recent submitted video of footage of the journalist/ civilians getting blown up in Iraq. I don't see anything close to a purpose for keeping this here.

First one is Poseidon and the bit preluding the final beatdown is almost more awesome... =)

As an official Video Game Guy(tm), I approve of this video. Nothing worse than trying to convince minions that they need to hold back and wait for the guy ahead of them to get a beatdown before they attack.

People who support and lobby for a public option have been cut out of the decision process since the beginning of this administrations push for healthcare reform. The blatant disallowing of single payer advocates from attending policy discussions with the senate and white house throughout the whole process has indicated to me that decisions have been made to try and tank the public option along time ago before any public discussion took place. I'm not sure if any policies of any kind can be honestly approached in the US without taking a massive legislative beatdown motion on lobbyists. Corporate lobbyists are so blatantly more powerful than the public interest.

See, that's the problem, you took the negative view of what he said. YOU thought him saying he would move to the front of the bus meant that in the end he would end up beating longe... whereas the way I took it, and the way he meant it, was that he was just moving away from the altercation, which is what EBM did... it's why I tend to 'side' with EBM if anyone in this sad video because he tried to move away and diffuse the situation.
If you like to think the absolute worst of people all the time and rather than take it as a moving away from conflict, take it as a call to arms, well I'm afraid that almost any situation must seem like people are trying to start a fight.
