"Stupidity of American Voter," critical to passing Obamacare
Oh lawd... I'm sorry to add another unrelated comment to this video, but this is pretentiousness taken to extremes! I think you mean beyond you. Defeat conceded, good argument @enoch.
On the matter of trolls - there really isn't a troll problem here. You tell me a website with the same number of members and traffic of here that is as civil and well presented as this. We don't even have a massive amount of bad language.. As Sir Meatius of Loafendale said in 1754, on the subject of light and optics, "Objects perceived in the rearward looking reflecting devices may appear to have their sizes increased proportional to their actual location." (Chiroptera Ex Infernus) What he was trying to say is if you've been bugged by someone unfairly recently, it's a big problem to you.
Also, although i saw a lot about siftquisitions, i never really understood them, or had them presented to me in the way of "Hey, come help us decide how the sift will be," kind of thing. So i always avoided it and I may even have been young and annoying 5 years ago, and avoided it to keep my cover. But i'd love to be involved in things like that now, i am part of the community but it's more because i like talking to people. Some of the people i know over the years have given me videos to sift so that i'd keep minimum necessary status, and i got my avatar given to me by someone who made me feel very welcome for my comment contributions. I think any chance for the community to help itself is a good thing, it might get noticed if it's presented that way. And as someone else said, we have changed a lot in 5 years, and i don't just mean the sexy UI. Tell me if there's a poll!
I'm glad you're okay that your party elite thinks that you're an idiot.
Who knows? Maybe they're right.
The rest of your comment is, frankly, beneath me.

Physics Student Owns Cop In Math
True, cops don't take math in the academy. Good thing, too, or I'd have flunked out.
But this cop sounds like he's trying too hard and his bad language makes him sound unprofessional. But I agree, don't admit to anything and don't blow into the damn thing cause it ain't admissible anyway.

Excellent! You should put it up in a Sift talk or something, more people need to read that!

Bad bad BAD language, but I suspect you might enjoy the English slang lesson. As would @hpqp.

Everyone seems to have their favorite. I loved that it was directed at a "man of the cloth."
Delicious!

"(...) the mental gymnastics your brain has to tortuously contort itself through to make such a preposterous statement are surely worthy of an Olympic gold medal (the Russian judge gives you a 10 for "beautiful oppressionism")."
That line alone was more than worth it.

Really??? I thought it was just if you could hear bad language. Otherwise surely every page of videos would have to be tagged just in case your boss walked past while you were trying to choose what to watch.

But, with that title it requires an NSFW.
First person combat in Afghanistan (using an helmet camera)
Anyone else find it interesting/strange that there is a warning in the beginning about bad language but no warning about the fact that they are shooting at, and possibly killing, live human beings?
That's not a comment on the war, by the way, but a comment on how skewed our perspective is when it comes to things being offensive...
Should we distinguish between NSFW videos vs. GRAPHIC videos? A vote to... (User Poll by blankfist)
I'm liking the delimited system. I feel like a movie could be either SFW, NSFW or Graphic. And that tells you exactly everything you need to know about the movie. NSFW means it's probably some bad language and maybe someone hitting himself in the nuts. Graphic would mean it probably contains nudity (not porn) or extreme violence such as news footage of someone getting run over by the police during a political protest.

I don't see it becoming a hassle if it was an enumerated system. When you post a video there could be a multiple choice selection of tick boxes under the question "This video contains:" and then have tick boxes for sexual content/nudity, bad language, violence etc.

NSFW should mean NSFW. That means that nudity, bad language or violence should all be candidates that can qualify a video for NSFW. To add level will over complicate a system that doesn't need complications. I don't mean to say that any or all videos with some level of those qualities must be flagged. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles shows violence, but so does "Cablegate" videos of Americans gunning down Iraqi civilians and journalists from a helicoptor. What qualifies as NSFW should be the discretion of the community.
In brief, if you would be uncomfortable showing a video to a 12 year old, then either your boss is very young or it might be NSFW.

I'm amazed they didn't think to stop recording and go tell anyone else in the building that might have been parked there what was happening. Of course, then it would just be a video of the water.
And I don't think the guy was letting air out of his tires, I believe he was locking his hubs to put the vehicle in 4WD.

And no "bad" language! I think I am more amazed by that.

While the guy has a purple umbrella, do they really think letting air out of tires would keep it from floating away?
And yeah, he was fiddling with the hubs so he could GTFO.
