Zip-It Drain Tool - Not For The Faint Of Heart
I had to use one of these the other day. It lives up to the claim, I have to give it that.
For the love of god though... if you ever need to use one of these yourself, treat it from a safety perspective like it's a power tool. Like a circular saw or something equally dangerous. Because those hooks? Yeah. They are sharper than they look, even if they're plastic. And if you were to accidentally be overzealous with yanking on the Zip It or if your grip slipped and you drew your hand across one of the barbs... congrats, you've just opened up a cut that has all kinds of lovely microbes that you just pulled from your drain pouring into it. Good luck trying to keep that from getting infected.
Just a word of warning. I agree the Zip It is retardedly effective at what it does, though.

Wow - you were on quite the mission these last few days/weeks for the gold. Well done!
Democrats Don't Read the Bills!
@Throbbin, you're right. Republicans also miss the mark here. To be fair, I think Grayson, Kucinich and Gravel are a credit to the Democratic Party, while Ron Paul stands as the only real credit to the Republican party (maybe sometime in future Rand will too if he proves himself).
I'd vote for these people any day because they have integrity and they're honest. That's the truth.
Guy can´t believe his luck on Chatroulette
I've been obsessed with chatroulette these last few days. Mostly acting as a porn VJ for random guys. Don't judge me.

Hey lucky -
I hope you're doing all right and that I'm not bothering you. I wanted to ask/remind - is it possible to resurrect http://www.videosift.com/video/The-Atheist-Delusion and other videos that karaidl *killed as he was about to leave the site? There one more of these (131 votes, too) that thinker247 akilled shortly before he was hobbled, and that wasn't 'brought back from the dead'. I think I've seen dag accomplish this feat, which is why I'm disturbin' tha peace
And one another thing. Notarobot recently *quality'd my post - I had missed this factoid until today, but nevertheless it hasn't gotten a single additional vote since his. It just doesn't seem plausible. I frequented the site regularly these past 2 days and I never saw it float up in the "Hot" listing, although I suppose it might have hovered on the 4th or the 5th page.
Cheers, Ed
Conservative radio hosts gets waterboarded, calls it Torture
I'm glad to see some of the pro-'enhanced interrogation techniques' people getting their day in the sun. I can watch these videos all day long.
Personal queues and dupes (Terrible Talk Post)
>> ^Edeot:
Oh, and Netrunner, I know how distraught you must be since I picked on you. I realize over these last two days you've grown to harbor an immense amount of respect for me, and I can't imagine how soul crushing that musta been. I'm here for you.
Thanks for your support, but get over the massive ego, eh?
If (sarcasm) do

Hamas firing mortars froma school (drone video)
I am not proud of the things my country have done these last few days. Israel had made mistakes, and I am horrid by the death toll of inoccent civilians. But how can you fight against this kind of terrorism? how can you fight "fair" when the battle they lead is among inoccent civilians. The only weapon they have is the pictures of their dead.
Pro- & Anti-Israeli Protests at Vancouver's US Consulate
A more detailed write up.
Vancouver, with its snowboarders and kayak tours and great produce and Benetton ad-inspired hipster scene, can seem on the surface a little removed from “global issues”. Issues such as Israel’s bombing of Gaza these last few days. Not to mention the worldwide fury stirred by conflict in the Holy Land.
But, for a primer on Vancouver’s connection to the “big picture”, you couldn’t beat this afternoon’s (December 29) pro-Palestinian protest on West Hastings Street.
Palestinian flags were out in force. So were those of Israel, across the street at the small counter-demonstration. The rhetoric was exact, pungent, fierce, furious, and emotional. Speaker after speaker encouraged the 250-strong crowd to shout.
“Free, free Palestine,” Omar Shaban, vice president of the Canadian Arab Federation, chanted. The crowd returned, “Free, free Palestine.”
...
Asif Husain, who attended the event to represent Muslim solidarity, explained to the Straight why he supports Hamas.
“They’re in a difficult position,” he said. “There is no solution to the peace problem so far. Sixty years have gone by with no end in sight.”
Across the street, a yarmulke-bedecked Stephen Burgher agreed there is no obvious solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
“They [Palestinians] want to be ‘free to the sea’ so they want no Israel left,” he said. “I don’t think anyone over here is calling for the destruction of Palestine. For peace, you’ve got to start off with somebody who’s a partner. You’ve got to start off with someone who is willing to talk to you about coexistence. If they want to destroy you, it’s not negotiation time; it’s war time. And I think it’s necessary, it’s sad to say.”
Hanna Kawas of the Canada Palestine Association blamed the ongoing conflict on the United Nations and the U.S.
“Yesterday was the 43rd veto in support of Israel,” Kawas said. “No other country in the world has been protected as Israel. And they’re doing it basically to cover the war crimes of the Israeli government. The U.S. is complicit in these war crimes. The M16s are American, the ammunition is American, and Israelis doing it on behalf of the U.S. Without them, Israel doesn’t exist.”
UPVOTE EVERYTHING DAY (take 3) (1sttube Talk Post)
>> ^blankfist:
>> ^mauz15:
Still waiting for blankfist to give a legitimate reason for breaking the site guidelines on this made up 'day'
There's precedence set on this. I've been holding these upvote everything days since I was a probie, and if this was a violation of the guidelines, I'd be banned by now more than once. Let's put it to test. I'll go upvote everything and you, bluecliff and joedirt go downvote everything and we'll see what comes of it.
meh
>> ^mauz15:
I said I was not going to argue but on second thought:
"If down voting or any other member privilege is intentionally misused, the offending member will be temporarily banned for no less than 2 weeks. A second offense will result in a permanent ban"
I see intention without a justifiable reason, and upvoting counts as a member privilege.
This 'event' makes no sense at all and has no justification whatsoever.
This "you must upvote everything in everyone's unsifted queue"
clearly contradicts
Abuse Guidelines ¶
1. Video votes must be cast only for the content and nothing else; the video must be viewed before voting
Don't be inconsistent and self contradicting. If this was about downvoting, many will be calling for a ban.

Kulpims gets his diamond; Dag and Lucky go broke (Drugs Talk Post)
that's right kronos...you pimp my posts!
Congrats kulpims. Trust me, I know how hard it is to sit around and find videos to post for these morons all day
George Galloway on the O'Reilly factor
"Saddam's act of aggression didn't last very long."
Brilliant statement, I guess this moron never heard of the Iran-Iraq war, which lasted 8 YEARS.
How Oreilly can stand having these nitwits on day after day and keep his sanity is beyond me...
Holy Smokes Tr2n is coming (Blog Entry by dag)
Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)
^ You don't have the nostalgia factor going for you on Tr2n. These were heady days of Atari 2600s and Tron video games in the arcade.
