I'd say if it had been me standing there (sober) - I would have immediately shut my mouth and forgot about my phone and videoing the event. Instead going into survival mode since I would have believed that my life was severely in danger by this event unfolding and would have tried to get out of there as fast as possible- to a basement or somewhere else solid. But, that is only my theory and everyone is different, situations are different, the people you are with, the country you are in, dynamics. It's not like this was their fault. You are partially correct, I listed the rank of a top submarine officer incorrectly, but not his position, I'm not in the Navy. He was Executive Officer of the first nuclear sub, but only First Lieutenant of the diesel. EDIT: He "qualified for command" of the nuclear sub...probably why I thought "commander" but properly should have said "was in command". Shortly after being assigned to lead the nuclear sub trials, after helping design and build it, he led the American shut down of the Chalk River reactor, lest you continue to insinuate he was an 'armchair warrior' that never held command.

I thought the whole point of the Hobbit was to integrate many parts of Tolkien's works into the main framework of the Hobbit. Honestly, even tho it dragged a bit here and there, I am loving these movies way more than LoTR, book or movie. The Hobbit is a good, relatively well written book. The LoTR is a dungeon master that's narcissistically held you captive in his basement while he shows you all his figurines.
