I feel bad for the little rat. Reminds me of Natalie Portman's pets in Garden State (or Sam, as her character was named). She left the wheel in and one of her hamsters didn't know how to use it and it died.

So, is that really him learning to not "crash out?" Is that how they're supposed to finish off a run, by just laying down until they're thrown out again anyway? (I don't know; I've never had a pet rodent.)

I've met Mandy Patinkin a couple times and Zach Braff once. I thought Natalie Portman was in this one too, but she isn't.. Met her once, too. (3, not 4.. technically 2, tho)

I only knew the Natalie Portman and Seth Rogan ones. The rest were a surprise. Great find!

This certainly would have made the film better. But you'd still have Ewan McGregor giving a stilted impression of Alec Guinness, and Natalie Portman being equally unnatural. And Darth Maul was a mute played by a stuntman. Without better acting and dialogue, all of these plot improvements would be wasted.

I wonder if "a thousand years" is a code for "we kept it as far away from George Lucas as possible." Because I'd be okay with that.

Still, I wish people who wish to protest something wouldn't pick a pop-culture reference to represent themselves. They should represent who they are, not some icon the media made popular. It really degrades the whole message they want to spread.

When the people who are the intended recipients of the protesters message see this though, they probably can't take it seriously. "Oh look, the masses are decorating themselves like a film character". The superficiality of its origins comes forward more readily than the intended symbolic attachment behind it. It would be more effective to find some emotional, poignant symbolism that represents, and is unique to, the movement and message at large.

Think of the possibilities... all you have to do is find someone dreaming about natalie portman getting it on with Cheryl Cole and pray to god that tendrils dont start appearing. On the other hand nightmares will no longer fade away when you can replay them on Tivo.

Ya know Speak was actually a pretty good movie and she was really good in it. She can act...she doesn't want to act in horrible movies...just like George Lucas's shit scripts sound awful coming out of Natalie Portmans mouth.

You could argue that Natalie Portman was famous years before that movie. She co-starred in Leon- The Professional. Great movie, too.


The Professional came out in October or November of 94...
