No surprise here really. If she was going to run she'd have had to have jumped in a month ago or more. But more than that - I don't think that the GOP wanted anything to do with her. She's much more of a maverick than John "Loser" McCain ever was, and the GOP doesn't like candidates they can't control. Palin will never be anything in the GOP again except a booster, commentator, or side-show attraction. I think she can help out by drawing in folks, but I don't see her ever holding major office again.

The biggest looming disaster is a rebellious loose cannon maverick like 'Hopper' wanting to get married.

However, please know that I have read exhaustively both video submission threads and Sift Talk threads. I dare say all of the Sift Talk threads through the evolutions of to the current generation of the invocation. That having been said I not unmindful of the issues and perceived precedents.

If they are all encompassing, well established and regarded as you posit, then why are the seconds of my initial invocation representative of all levels of seniority of membership? Additionally, missing many dupes and I do and must, find ample representation of the same criteria of selection mirrored again by the complete strata of membership. Certainly, if I am mistaken, unaware, or just recalcitrant, why do others not adhere to the precedent you proclaim and am I and others not censured?

You, and others here, seem to perceive a solid, cohesive, and save for a few mavericks of insufficient time and hence experience who are mucking up the place, pervasive unassailable consensus. You know when you've slept with one too many strippers and you get a surprise dosage of Chlamydia? That's what Games for Windows Live is. It's a pestulent boil on the otherwise fine, if large, ass of Bulletstorm. It even wanted me to register on XBOX live, even though I'm playing the PC game, presumably as a sex offender.

There is an UI designer that needs a serious whacking with a mouse. When I started the game for the first time, it said "Press Enter to continue" to the menu, I assumed, but when I did, I had to log into Games for Windows Live or burn in hell. So I did, found my login after some brain wracking and typed it all in. Then Games for Wünderkinds Live wanted to update. Alright, Games for Wonderbras Live, I'll play along. "Restart the game now?" But where? I was stuck back at the "Press Enter to Continue" screen in Bulletstorm, with no quit button. Oh, Pepic Can Fly, you dastardly UI Mavericks, I just have to press enter you say? "Plesae log in to Jims in Wanda Live to continue". "You cannot log in to Jims in Wanda Live right now, since it's being updated with more fucking chlamydia" Not only can I not get into the game and play, I can't get the hell out of it.

The only thing that's wrong, but right in "more healthy" aspect is the Pepsi (unless that's the ONLY way you get your mass water). The "eight/six/whatever glasses of water" a day is bunk science. Water is in almost everything you could eat or drink. Otherwise a microwave would be useless. Pepsi is mostly water, but the high-fructose corn syrup is the horrific part and the sodium to a lesser extent.

I'd much rather buy Kool-Aid or Tang as it's easier for the body to digest and you can decide the concentration level.

The one thing I hate about soft-drinks is that I like to have more water and less syrup--it becomes sickening at normal levels. Which is why I think 7-11, Maverick, Holiday, or wherever else you go tastes better from the fountain as it's usually toned down syrup wise.)
