How did so many Americans become so incredibly delusional that they trust convicted con men and anonymous internet trolls spreading bat shit crazy convoluted conspiracy theories that require impossibly perfect secrecy from millions of people about outrageous things like eating live babies and a cadre of space lasers over professional fact checkers with verifiable proof and sanity?

I remember trying to teach my little sister how to throw a ball. It was quite hard to get the timing on the whole "swing arm - release ball" right, or even in the right order.

That is unfortunate. That sounds like Season 2, Episode 2; not really a good place to try and jump in to a new series. My rule of thumb is to watch the first 4 of a series and then judge. It has worked really well for me so for. I would suggest you should try season 1.

Didn't watch much Roseanne back when it was first shown. Watched the first two seasons recently, and I loved it.
What kills me about Jackie: She's well written, and as a little sister to a control freak like Roseanne they don't have to do much to get my sympathy. And then Metcalf does those Jim Carrey style funny faces and I remember that I'm watching a sitcom.

HAHA good point, but I was talking more about my parent's experiences. My mom never waited outside a store all night to get nearly trampled to death for any Christmas present. She maybe had to drive a few miles out of the way to pick up a Cabbage Patch Doll for my little sister, and even that was a bit silly back then.

I blame the 80s.
