What are the odds?
He was really inches away from hitting the second ball. You can clearly see its trajectory isn't altered, and just bounces.

Harris Hawk, bath time!
..."It was precisely at that moment in which the sedatives began to wear off. Suddenly, the headwind of her dream ceased its warm caress, and became a howling vortex of hot pain. Instead of the familiar lilt of the flight, her nails clicked on something solid, smooth and inorganic. Realizing she was standing, her natural equalibrium returned and she forced an eye open, cocking her head away from the screaming heat. Her mind reeled. Mere inches away stood a looming, bleached ape.
A voice screeched for freedom, her senses flooded back to her, a bubbling, growing force of awareness and energy that grew with speed, and slowly subsided, spreading into her muscles, bones, limbs and feathers. Her mind's haze receded, sharpened, returning to the familiar, welcome, finely-honed edge of a predator.
She went for the eyes..."
Babies on the Brink
Maybe the babies are also learning that there is always a loving caring person who's arms are inches away from them at all times, so they can do what they want with complete abandon?
Tim Shoots His Thumb Off on Doomsday Preppers Shooting
The most important thing to have when it hits the fan is a community. No family is going to do well without the help and support of their community no matter how many guns and bullets you have. Gun ownership in America is over 40% I think (or close to that) - so EVERYONE is going to be packing in bad times. Its going to be about trust and community - that's where the true power of defense is going to be.
Guns (and cars) are very unforgiving, you have to have proper training and a uncompromising level of safety when you have them out.
The family in this clip had no business firing those guns - especially the kids - (I saw numerous safety violations) and if you watch several of the other episodes you get to see some pretty horrendous gun handling that would make anyone cringe (def a safety hazard).
That being said, I personally have pulled a gun twice in self defense (once in uniform) and once as a civilian. I would probably not be here now if I had not been carrying.
I don't want to be labelled pro-gun as I see both sides of the issue, and I also have fear of the "idiots" out there, including the ones driving big ass pickup trucks tailgating me inches away while I am driving my entire family.
Idiots are a danger with or without a gun.
Stupidity kills.
U.S. Soldier Survives Taliban Gunfire During Firefight

I was wondering why he was out in the open too. Then I read the video description... did you guys?
Reading FTW. I didn't read the description at first either and was like, "Did he just Leroy Jenkins down the hill?!?"
I'm a bit amazed at the accuracy of the Taliban shots. They seemed to be at a fairly far range (I can't make them out at all in the vid) and yet a lot of the shots are hitting him or just inches away from him.
This is why you never look down the barrel of a loaded gun

What is a Nanosecond?
Modern computers clocked upwards towards 4 ghz are having clock transistions in chunks of picoseconds now. Transmission of these signals around a circuit board no longer is simple! Many special design considerations come in to moving the data around. Wires on the circuit boards are setup as carefully impedance balanced transmission lines. Imagine that! Sitting at some microchip and having a clock transition sweeping by you and another clock wavefront coming in just a couple inches away.
Biker inches away from being hit
My comment was not meant to be taken literally. The point being, if you drive something with 2 wheels or 4...keep your head on a swivel (yes, more hyperbole). Of course, this advice does not apply to unicycles so it's open season on them.

Rule #1 for motorcycle drivers = Nobody can see you.
Rule #1 for car drivers = You cannot see motorcycles.
Am I the only one that DOES see motorcycles or is everyone else just lazy? In my opinion, there's no excuse, unless you're driving a big ass truck, van, bus, or a car where even using your eyes, rather than mirrors, does not give a full view.

Don't think so - looks like a white back plate, so not from the UK.
Edit: look at it again, I'm not so sure...
