Help with Online Web Galleries. (Art Talk Post)
Being at a college, our entire website is filtered through a content management system (Ironpoint).
Because of this all pages are restricted to use the tools built withing that system.
I get around this by posting galleries on a secondary server and embedding that site within the Ironpoint page and template. http://www.okanagan.bc.ca/administration/publicaffairs/Ceremonies/Grad_Photos.html
You'll notice older galleries (2009-2010) are built using Dreamweaver and work just fine linking to the original image (although we were using smaller versions at the time). The last set (Winter 2011) was built using Bridge. Another problem with bridge is that it changes the file names which completely messes with our image filing system.
I'm afraid PHP and ASP are out of my parameters. The pages must be stand alone files I can just FTP to the secondary server.
If I can't use the adobe software (which is a huge oversight from Adobe, then I'll need to find different software - maybe hunt down an old version of ACDSee. (I run a Mac at work and my old software is Win so still not a clean fix)

PROOF!!! Obama Birth Certificate Fraud
It would make sense to me if the alterations people are reporting are merely artefacts caused by scanning the document directly to a PDF.
As the video points out, these "alterations" are so obvious that if someone wanted to hide that it was a fake, it was done purposefully badly. The White house would definately have had people to do this properly.
The other option is that the birth certificate was simply processed very coarsely, either because it was done by someone with no graphical knowledge, or because they wanted the final published document to be as small as possible. After all, they are publishing a document they expect to be downloaded millions of times by skeptics within the first day. Putting up a 10 mb high-fidelity scan would bring the server to its knees and likely cause an even greater outrage.
I'm just saying, of these two possiblilities, the latter is definately the most likely.

To indicate that the "locals" scanned it and then email it or such is a possible point but it still does not answer the alterations.
The white surly have access properly knowledgeable individuals of photoshop and other ADOBE products.
PROOF!!! Obama Birth Certificate Fraud
Good question. The news and or OBAMA indicated that his attorney went to Hawaii and obtained it. It then would make sense the the attorney would come back with an official copy/ duplicate. The White house staff would then process it and post it on the web.

That would be fine if you just wanted the text from the document. In this case the the document as a whole is what is of interest. Anyone with any graphic sense would scan into photoshop since the image would be a photo. This would present itself as 1 and only 1 layer.
No one would OCR scan to PDF execpt those with out photoshop. Sure the scanner will have software provided for OCR ( optical character recognition).
The problem is that you are assuming that this was done by a person with graphic sense, or with knowledge of photoshop.
If the birth certificate was simply scanned by some office worker in Hawaii, with no graphic sense and no photoshop available, and sent to the White House for publication, would that not explain the entire thing?

Sure the scanner will have software provided for OCR ( optical character recognition). in such case then you would und up with a plain text document with no background. According to what you wrote, then all of these TEXT areas would have to be reassembled and arranged to fit onto the green pattern background. That does not make sense. Why would anyone pull a document apart just to put it back together? The only logical way to do this is to scan into Photoshop and save as a jpeg or equivalent. To convert it ti PDF then I would open it in Illustrator and do a save as PDF.Or on a Mac just print to PDF
In the video they use Illustrator to open the document. Illustrator will open a PDF and if there were any layers then they would be available also.
Again there is no reason for this document to have this amount of adulteration that this has.

Here's a very simple explanation I found on a forum I frequent:
When you scan a document into PDF, you can use a mode which does text recognition. This will produce a document with layers. It stores the text as actual text instead of an image. This option is there because it typically generates a smaller PDF file.
In the areas where the birth certificate is near-black, Adobe's PDF-rendering engine eliminates the 8-bit RGB data and replaces it with a 1-bit layer with alpha. It's all in the interest of reducing file size
Try scanning ANY item directly into Acrobat using the twain tool, which the EXIF data shows was done. Run OCR on it, as is required by all federal and state agencies that work under the paperwork reduction act. Multiple control layers are added, as are masks for objects.

Obama releases full birth certificate, now STFU idiots. PLZ?
There is another post that suggested how altered it is. Proof!!! Obama Birth Certificate Fraud. I'm not an Alex Jones fan but wanted to see what he had to say.
If this IS a original birth certificate than there would not be layers other that the document and the background.
I went to this link White house link to the document downloaded OBAMA certificate. and I was able to pull it apart. I have been around photoshop / Illustrator / Adobe products for the last 15 years
This is clearly an altered document.
Download it and open it up in illustrator
You too will realize how altered it is.

Regardless of the lack of knowledge the two have. If this IS a original birth certificate than there would not be layers other that the document and the background.
I did as they said and went to link they posted This link and I was able to pull this apart. I have been around photoshop / Illustrator / Adobe products for the last 15 years

This Adobe Photoshop "expert" obviously doesn't know how a scanner works. This was discussed extensively on Reddit.

What does MS Paint sound like?
Info from YT submitter:
Just made a really weird and awesome discovery.
If you import an EXE file into an audio program as audio data, you hear all kinds of cool stuff. The most awesome by far for me was MS Paint.
It's probably one of the coolest things I've ever heard form something like this. All I did to the audio was master it slightly to make it sound less harsh to the ears, as well as remove a long section of noise.
This is the Windows 7 x64 edition of mspaint.exe. I used Adobe Audition to import and edit the audio, but one could jsut as easily use Audacity's "import Raw Data" feature. I imported this as 8-bit, 22050hz stereo audio. I faded in the beginning, as well as removing a long section of noise part of the way through.
