100 Best Rock and Roll Guitar Riffs
Even though I'm in my 20s I used to listen to classic rock when I was a kid so I still get a nostalgia kick. Don't Fear the Reaper...used to listen to that everyday for a month or two in summer . Strangely I kind of missed 90s rock when it was happening. Listening to Everlong and wondering where the fuck I was when it came out.
REM - Nightswimming (Full Length version)
*promote one of my favorite 90s songs. I'm doing a "good 90s rock" theme for my queued vids right now.
The lyrics for this song, coupled with that beautiful melody, are nothing short of awe-inspiring. Heart-rending when you're down though.

Hey there (Asia Talk Post)
Thanks!
Yeah, Japanese rock is heavily influenced by Western rock (of course: the West invented rock'n'roll, after all). To be specific, the modern Japanese bands tend to be influenced mainly by 60s-90s rock and britpop, and with such good influences, it's no wonder there's a wealth of good rock and roll to be found in the East right now. (There's tons of crap too though, lol.)
I'll try to sift some more interesting bands and some that retain a more traditionally Japanese sound to them sometime as well.
