Yeah, I saw that a few weeks ago. I was surprised Microids was doing another Empire of the Ants like they did in Y2K. It was pretty back then, but boring. I'd rather replay SimAnts. Maybe this one will be better. Also, I don't do consoles.

I never knew there was a Y2K version.

I never got into Tron series until Y2K days.

GE Medical got sued years ( around y2k) ago for this withholding of service tools..
Looks like these farmers should look at that suit.

Now any 3rd party/ in house has service access to GE equipment.
There is a difference though with OEM and 3rd party access.
OEM service manuals have book marks, most 3rd party docs don't.
Diagnostics for 3rd party is an full test of all systems ( time consuming) but for OEM you can select which test you want.

Still you need to know what your are doing on this stuff.
Some jack off the street would be clueless.

Other OEM's have yet to be sued and hence are like John Deer to service.

I still use my Sharp CRT TV from January 1996, VCR from Y2K, VGA, etc.

I still have my Toshiba VCR from Y2K, but it only to connect between my very old video card and 19.5" Sharp CRT TV (January 1996).

The parting gag on the Y2K episode "Da Boom" comes to mind.

Been there, done that for a LAN party for Y2K in an empty college parking lot! Except my driver wasn't drifting!

Definitely Y2K. It was crazy seeing people making money off the subject. For instance, some rocket scientist was selling Y2K H2O.

Y2K.. I was busy in Finland during fall 1999, hoping to get my fiancee visa and fly to the US before Y2K hit. Just in case all airplanes would stop working and so on.. Luckily I got the visa on time and arrived to the States already in late November 1999.

The world didn't end, planes were still flying at 2000, and I got to marry the love of my life! Not bad for a doomsday scare!
