Lame spoof of Gore's "Inconvenient Truth" - paid for by Exxon
They have references to Joe Dirt, linux Tux, manbearpig, and jumping the shark.
---
Indeed, Mr. Gore has endlessly promoted his environmental documentary "An Inconvenient Truth" since its release in May. But a spoof of the film -- titled "Al Gore's Penguin Army" -- is now featured on YouTube.com, a popular Internet video site. The Wall Street Journal yesterday reported that the video was produced by the DCI Group, a District-based ad agency that works for Mobil Exxon Corp. The spoof is one of several already posted.
---
What I don't understand is what the spoof is trying to say. Is the message, "X-Men is cool, so just ignore global warming because it is boring?" I wonder if Exxon got their moneys worth from this faux-internet viral clip.
I'm assuming it was designed to be linked to and passed around rightwing blogs, hence the RedState Theater.
