If you were a police man, who would you rather beat up - a guy with an AR-15 and thirst for statist blood or some kid who likes yelling in a megaphone and maybe throwing a trashcan through a window? I would think that easier prey would be obvious.

It's possible the the 1s and 0s have become clogged. Completely unplug your computer (including network cord) and tap one corner while its being held over a trashcan... you should see the little bits fall down. I don't suggest breathing in binary dust, you might catch a computer virus.
