The Peanuts Movie - official trailer (2015)

EMPIRE says...

I love two things about this trailer:

1) They use the Peanuts theme song which is timeless and wonderful
2) The way it looks. Love the art direction and it looks so much like the old stuff but with newer technology.

Hope it's good.

Ultra-Pure Water Tastes Like Nothing And Can Kill You

Once upon a time, National Geographic was serious, educational, and interesting. Now they find the need to be all "EXTREME" with people like this guy pandering to the audience, because clearly the general public is too stupid and has too short an attention span to actually listen to the stuff.

And yet, somehow we can tolerate David Attenborough's completely dry and boringly British delivery.

[EDIT]Oh, and remember the old theme song? Now THAT was a theme song!

Of that genre this is one of my all time favorites ... right up there with The Bridge on the River Kwai . Both movies had highly addictive theme songs as well. [uhoh, I feel an earworm or two coming on!]

Trancecoach says...

Used to date a woman who lived across the street from the house in SF in which, according to a few "guide books," they shot some of the interior scenes for the show (not the exteriors, i.e., the "painted ladies," and not the "set").
There'd be a constant stream of tourists taking their photographs in front of the house, blasting the theme song for the whole block to hear.
So glad we broke up...
