Three weeks ago I was riding my motorcycle when I felt an immediate and painful sting in the fleshy underside of the knuckle of my ring finger. Stung REAL bad.

I whipped my hand up off the clutch to see what the pain was to find a fucking bee had flew ass first at 80km/h(50mph) into me. Everything below the bee's knees was hanging out of my hand!!

I quickly came to a stop and yanked the ass off my hand but the stinger was firmly lodged in. Trying to grab the very end of it with no nails at all on my stubby fingers, I simply worked the stinger under my flesh completely I then ended up with this painful 5mm diameter blacky/red blotch under my skin, taunting and laughing my inability to do anything about it. Still healing now.

So thank you nature, for reminding me of the importance of riding with gloves. Fucker.

Having gone to public school, I can make two comments..one, children are cruel. two, there is an anti-gay sentiment that is pervasive there. It is really an anti-difference sentiment. People get bullied and humiliated just for things like having a speech impediment. I just read about a suicide of a boy who was driven over the edge because children were taunting him about his Dad being killed when he was 4 years old. So, you can't throw gay teen suicides into the lap of Christians, because while a few may be caused by anti-gay Christian bigotry, this isn't the main factor. It is tertiary the underlying issues of societal conditions, and risk factors inherent in the gay lifestyle. According to a study in the Netherlands, where homosexuality is generally accepted and tolerated, gay men are 8 times more likely to commit suicide than heterosexual men. If gay suicide is based on anti-gay Christian bigotry, why are the rates higher than the norm in one of the least Christian countries in Europe?

Christians should not be anti-gay, that's number one. That isn't what Jesus taught us about sin, and how we should treat people. Homosexuality isn't a sin apart from other sins. We're all sinners, and none of us are worthy of salvation. A christian deserves death and hell just as much as anyone else. It is only by Gods grace, which is unmerited favor, that we are saved. Jesus came to save sinners; that's why He died on the cross. He told us to love our neighbor as ourselves, and gays are our neighbors. So, this is how Christians should approach gays and homosexuality in general.

That doesn't mean we should not say it is a sin. It would not be loving to pretend it is not, or to even tacitly approve of that behavior. Love is being honest, and truthful with someone, so that they have the correct information to make a decision. If we were to lie and say God approves of sin, Christians would be guilty of the greater sin in Gods eyes. So, there is a certain way to approach this issue, which is love, tempered by the truth. Any Christian not doing so is not doing what Christ commanded us to.

A bunch of students were invited to a seminar that described as being about "bullying". They are instead exposed to anti-religious bigotry and sexual innuendo. Rather than sit and listen to insults directed at their belief system, they decided to leave. As they leave, the speaker taunts them further and uses profanities. Oh - yeah - that's not bullying. :eyeroll: This guy is a class-A hypocrite and a jack@$$.

Let's change the parameters slightly. A bunch of journalism students are invited to a speech about Community Service, and the speaker is an Iraq War veteran who starts calling the Koran a bunch of bullcrap, and talking about how much he likes to dress up his lover in a burqa (wink wink). 100 or so Muslim students are offended and get up to leave, and the guy calls the audience's attention to them and starts calling them a bunch of pansy-@$$ cowards. Ha ha ha. Still "not bullying"?

I feel sorry for the kids, but frankly I hope this slimeball keeps doing stuff like this. It proves to everyone (except for the radical, leftist fringe lunatic crowd) just what a sleaze he is. He's a bigot just as bad as the bigots he claims to condemn. He isn't against bigotry and hate. He's just against any bigotry and hate of which he hasn't personally approved. That makes him a demagogue, and his audience is simply other bigots... Bigots like this...

I never could stand this part of the Extended Edition. The actor's choice of character (and/or Peter Jackson's direction of that character) just came across as too buffoonish with the constant baring of the teeth. He doesn't taunt or cast the hopelessness as he's supposed to.
