Cop gone wild- Lying and making threats just part of his job
Here's the story behind the story, including a transcript provided by the driver (http://www.thenewspaper.com/news/19/1961.asp). There's a link to another video where the driver is questioning certain legalities of sobriety checkpoints. In this video, when asked about the camera and security set-up, and whether or not he has a record, he mentions being assaulted by an off-duty cop, and the city of St. Louis paid him off not to sue them. So--clearly the cop abused his authority, and to get SO foul mouthed SO quickly is unconscionable. At the same time, the driver seems to have quite the chip on his shoulder, and might very well be driving about, looking for some rabid cop to annoy.

EV-1 : Who Killed The Electric Car ? OPEC ? US Govt ?
I've actually worked with an Edison electrical system - the American Theater in St. Louis, Missouri. The lighting system was DC, with huge knife switches. The stagehands had to throw the switches with a wooden hook, and they had to wear cotton draw-string pants. If they had any metal on their bodies, the charge could jump and fry them.
Bessie Smith "St. Louis Blues
St. Louis Blues... Just saw this movie last night and it's incredible. The plot and acting aren't great but Eartha Kitt, Pearl Bailey (who looks and sounds just like Queen Latifah) and of course Nat King Cole as W.C. Handy make it well worth a looksee for the music alone. Ruby Dee is in it too as the "good girl" foil to Eartha's wickedness!

St. Charles, to be exact. We saw them at... uh... Riverport? That place across from Earth City. We saw the Moody Blues there as well.

“I got to see Rush in concert during the Rolling The Bones tour in St. Louis Missouri, USA. They looked really out of it --not a smile unless it was choreographed. Excellent concert, but sad in hindsight. I did collect most of their tapes at the time, but I stopped after the Counterparts album. Great song. Not their best, but thanks for posting it.”

Michael J Fox Responds To Rush Limbaughs Lies
I'd like to see a link to a newspaper story for the claim that McCaskill does not support embryonic stem cell research, please. This St. Louis Post-Dispatch story makes it pretty clear that she is supporting Amendment 2.
If some time ago she was opposed to it, but has changed her mind -- so what? She now supports embryonic cell research, as described in Amendment 2. If she voted against a booby-trapped omnibus bill (the old "my opponent voted against money for our troops!" trick), or against a bill that didn't have the controls she favours -- so what? She supports embryonic stem cell research in Missouri, controlled as described in Amendment 2.
