The Most Amazing Footage Of The Moon In Decades
Could have used some soothing classical.
Amiina - Sicsak
I definitely would not call this emo. It seems to be more influenced by minimalism and seventies german space rock. It may not require amazing talent, but who cares about talent when they have a vision and a desire and passion to make it come alive? This is the sound of universal life.

...because I would enjoy an enlightening discussion on the subject of anyone's innate ability to produce soothing or otherwise beneficial tones on objects at hand, be they electronic, percussive, etc.
This video is like watching a camera on at some folks place that have a variety of musical apparatus around. They probably have distilled spirits or were at the very least, inspired by the same.
It's probably cold outside.
Not much to do but shiver.
Suns gone for weeks at a time.
This dirge transmits and set the mood. I'm cold. Time to make popcorn and ribs.

Damn, I am the worst mod! (Food Talk Post)
And spread soothing aloe over the cuts.
Road Rage in Canada
The soothing effect of the metric system.
Evil Doll Laugh
Yeah I had this actually happen to my son, who had a lovely, soothing Sully toy that used to say nice things, like "go to sleep" and "don't worry I'll protect you". That is until about three years later, when the boy rolled over in his sleep and woke up to shit not unlike this playing in his face. Didn't get him to sleep for a few weeks after that very easily!
How Do Pain Relievers Work
>> ^Auger8:
I actually thought that only worked with chemical burns guess that's what I get by learning medicine from Fight Club. lol.
>> ^vaire2ube:
Perfect. This helped me understand why acetic acid in vinegar helps with burns ... by neutralizing the substances leaked from damaged cells and stopping the spread of the burn effect to other healthy cells.
I couldnt find a clear mythbusters type explanation on vinegar and burns, so looking up what happens with damaged cells/pain interactions got me farther.
"It takes the heat away from the burn" ... "It neutralizes the burn" ... weren't quite doing it for me.
Anyway thanks info!
That was vinegar neutralising the lye (strong caustic soda) which is a base and was dissolving the skin/subcutaneous fat, not soothing the burn.
This Kitten Is Soothed To Sleep By Ukulele

Ukelele it is.
From YouTube user lilymaide (aka Sarah Donner): "This is Lady Peanut. She likes to sit by me when I get out the ukulele."
I'm really impressed with Sarah Donner's music. This is one of a few really cool, fun videos I saw on her site which I looked up based on the The Motherf**king Pterodactyl video done by her and The Oatmeal (and sifted here...http://videosift.com/search?q=pterodactyl)

Actually sounds like a guitar... ? (Curiosity and all that)
pretty sure it's a ukelele, played well (like here) they sound better than you'd expect for such a mini instrument.
Yeah that's definitely a ukelele. Guitar sounds way different.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this some kind of fetish sexuality?
According to the youtube description this is where he bought his suit. . . so I'm going to say yes.
I suspect it's a fetish that mostly appeals to mildly autistic people. That's not an insult. That sort of sensation is often very soothing to them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hug_machine
No no, in order for autistics to experience any kind of sexual satisfaction we have to rub our dicks on model trains.

Hitchcock's Definition of Happiness
I could listen to him talk all day. Oddly soothing.
