Did you mean to leave this comment with the "AOC Sets Groundwork To Subpoena Trump's Taxes And Council" video Under SaNdMaN's comment?
Most awesome things are, when you get right down to it.

Shipping Up To Boston / Enter Sandman - Goddesses of Bagpipe
Shipping up to Boston works, but Sandman was just awful, and no amount of attractive women will disguise that.
Besides, uillean pipes are way nicer
The Molecular Shape of You (Ed Sheeran Parody)
You should check out his other songs. Most i'm guessing you will know. They are all amazingly well done. I'm surprised more people don't love his stuff. Here are my faves.

That was impressive.
I don't know the original song but that was a brand new experience.
I was blown away with how he kept all the other sounds going in the corners.

GoPro On Journalists Chest Deflects Sniper Bullet
@ SaNdMaN
Could have been a ricochet...
But judging by the crack sound you can hear just before the GoPro explodes it was directed fire. So, yeah possibly shock?
Run The Jewels - Meowpurrdy feat. Lil Bub, Maceo, Delonte
Not my favorite little ditty but I found it to be exceptional in visual entertainment [particularly in my current state of herbally enhanced awareness]. Looks like I'll be staying up a little longer though. I don't recommend this as the last thing to see before the sandman makes his presence known ... yikes!
The Rage is real - gamer smashes monitor
Hey Sandman, welcome to the Sift! It's the vigilance of @chicchorea and others that really contribute to the quality here. You seem to have done everything right and not taken it all personally. Kudos!
Spawn - The Rise of Image Comics
I never really got into Spawn and Rob Liefeld... well, google Rob Liefeld and the first result is The 40 Worst Rob Liefeld Drawings.
It's also kind of ironic that despite Image's entire raison d'etre being "creator's rights", they ended up in a legal battle with Neil Gaiman over a character Gaiman created for McFarlane.
That said, Image are putting out some amazing work these days. If you like comics or sci-fi and you're not reading Saga or Black Science, you're missing out. Seriously, go read them now.
Side note: I know purists probably hate digital comics, and as someone who owns 5 volumes of Ultimate Sandman, I do like a real book, but digital comics are goddamn awesome.
Watchmen - Adapting The Unadaptable
I disagree that it cannot be adapted to film. It could be done with a director that can function in a storytelling environment, which Snyder simply cannot do. The problem with Snyder was covered very well here recently, *related=http://videosift.com/video/Nerdwriter-Fundamenal-Flaw-Zack-Snyder-Batman-v-Superman
He was exactly the wrong director to have film this. I would have went with Del Toro or Whedon, but even they have their flaws.
Now, if the question is, can an adaptation be done that Alan Moore will feel 'suits' his vision? Probably not. He is an artist, in very good ways, but also in some very bad ones. He has a specific idea of how his creation must flow, which means he will never be satisfied with a medium outside of the graphic novel or comic.
Personally, I think one of the few un-adaptable works would be Gaiman's Sandman, but that's just my opinion.

And here we see one of the reasons I stopped listening to metal for a while.
Fuck "true" metal and anyone who says they know what is or isn't "real" metal. You go down that path and you end up listening to nothing but Manowar.
It's either a good heavy song or it isn't.
Sandman's pretty far from my favourite Metallica track, but it's a decent tune and a good "gateway drug" into heavier stuff.
As a metal head myself, though I tend more towards the early bluesy Sabbath/KISS/SLB/Priest sounds and aesthetics of the late 60s and early 70s, my problem is less about the sandals and more about them playing into the public perception of "metal" --which is apparent when they cover the most over played piece of shit in the analogs of metal.
This is quintessentially not even metal when Metallica plays it. If these kids mattered in the realm of metal -- and they could have despite their sandals -- they would have covered Hit the Lights off of Kill Em All, (Mustane, bitch) or a moving instrumental like Orion off of Master of the Puppets.
Say what you will about Mustane and his unmetal born again bullshit, when you hear him on Hit the Lights... you're fucking owned by the beast. You know metal. And it knows you. Enter Sandman, NOT metal.
NOT. METAL. Listen to TRUE metal, bitch. Recommendations provided for you to begin the governance of your metal mind. Join the Metal Militia.
