Paging Lonely Island: Andy Samberg and Justin Timberlake.
Around the house with Mark Wahlberg
Seems more like an impression of Andy Samberg's impression, but pretty funny regardless.
James Franco Roast - Andy Samberg
Couldn't disagree more. As much as I normally like Jeff Ross, he was only a step above Aziz Ansari for worst material.
I think Samberg along with Hader's "Mr. Hollywood" schtick were tops for the night. And I am by no means an SNL apologist. Far from it. They just gave amazingly original roast performances.
Ross's was just stock roast material.
Watched the whole roast and the best segment came from Jeff Ross, who had the entire panel of comedians in-stitches with short, well-timed quips and a comfortable, un-strained delivery. Samberg's schtick was crude, overworked, manic, tiresome and dull....oh, and unnecessarily long, not unlike most of the tired skits from SNL nowadays.
Lorne Michaels should take him back. Oh. He's there now.....give him a permanent dressing room star then and keep him from polluting any future feature film offerings.

If Samberg goes too....SNL be hurting
It started hurting nine years ago. heh.. When this "new" cast came to be.
Nothing replaces the 1994-2003'ish cast. I have just rolled my eyes over the past many years when plunked down in front of the boob tube with family or a friend I had.
Stinky show, probably even more stinky now.
Griping is stress relief !

Wow. I think just the opposite. SNL really hurt from 1994-2003 because of that cast. Cheri Oteri, Will Ferrel, Rachel Dratch, Molly Shannon and the like were complete hams.
It was refreshing when they replaced them all nearly at the same time with the crew they have now. This latest incarnation brought some fresh voices and decent writing. Not quite 1988-1993 greatness, but it has definitely been a step up.

why is it the last digital short (only good things about SNL) ever?
Well, it's most likely Andy Samberg's last season at SNL. They could conceivably keep doing the Digital Shorts without him, but obviously without Samberg and the Lonely Island guys, they'll be pretty different.

Wonder if they paid this kid any royalties.
Oh my god! That literally made me cry real tears of laughter!
