If I understand what you're asking, full speed is relative. Anything in orbit is traveling at a fixed, known speed to keep it from falling back to earth or flying out into space.

Once drag is imposed on the object it will start to fall and it's course will change toward earth. It will start to fall faster and then burn up in the atmosphere upon reentry.

Interesting fact:

Let's say a gun is fixed to shoot a bullet parallel to the earth. At exactly the same time you shoot that gun, you drop a bullet from the same height as the gun, both bullets will hit the ground at the same time.

If that gun could shoot that bullet 7,500 MPH (+ -), it would never hit the ground if it wasn't slowed down by air resistance.

They have been consistently clear that the FBI won't decide if or how Russian interference influenced the election, that's not their job, but it's clear that was and is the intent, and Putin isn't known for spinning his wheels. You still spout Russian made slogans and theories constantly, it influenced you immensely.

They absolutely should have said Trump was under investigation for working with our enemies to subvert government processes when they publicly reopened the Clinton investigation over emails that contained nothing.

Clearly, the guy is resisting arrest, but we have no idea whether a) the arrest was warranted in the first place or b) whether this was a proportionate response.

Neither can you deny that there's a strong possibility this wouldn't have happened if the guy was white.

As for the cop, he should be suspended with pay while the investigation is carried out. We apply the same "innocent until proven guilty" standard to police that we do to everyone else. On the flipside of that, if he's found guilty of misconduct, he shouldn't just be fired, he should face jail time for assault and abuse of power.

Finally, suggesting that crowds should "turn on police" is a recipe for disaster. There are zero good outcomes from that. At best, you have police unable to do their jobs in case of crowd violence, and at worst, you end up with people being killed.

No matter how unjustified you feel your treatment is, it's important to remember that resisting arrest is very much at your own risk. The law varies from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, but even where it IS allowed, if the arrest later turns out to be lawful, you will be charged with an additional crime.

On the chance your 'jokingly' isn't obvious, MLK, Ghandi and Mandela's causes ALL had support from those willing to use violence, aka better weapons would help.

Malcolm X would be the next most prominent figure beside MLK. Indian independence wasn't won with peaceful hunger strikes alone, and again lots of violence in South Africa.

Ghandi even bridged the gap to working alongside the effective army fighting for India's independence:

Speaking more to the point of America today, pretty much no civil war has been fought exclusively with civilians on one side, and the government, police, army and all other branches of the state united on the other. The reason being that if that kind of unity within the government against the civilian population exists, you ALREADY have tyranny.

In America, the example would be if a president or a particular political party decided to try for tyrannical over reach, would the American public be better equipped to resist that with or without guns? In civil war, guns give power to the majority of public opinion that would need to be there otherwise. In a nation with an unarmed public, whatever the majority of soldiers side with is likely gonna win. With an armed populace, the civilian opinion matters more.

I think it's an overall modest observation, and one that really doesn't in anyway make it obvious that the modest benefit is worth the costs. That is another matter, but you can't factually claim that there isn't a meaningful difference between an armed and unarmed population when facing civil war.

I'm not totally sold on the AR-15 to save the country line of reasoning either, but it's not entirely without merit.

Sure a population armed with AR-15s isn't going to prevent a guy like Bashar Al Assad who's willing to use helicopters to drop chemical weapons on you. At the same time, try resisting or overthrowing a guy like that WITHOUT AR-15s...

I would suggest you read about what happened at waco or watch one of the many docos before using it as an example of resisting tyranny. They attempted to use the media, not guns to champion their cause. The FBI denied them that ability.

Hmmmm.....No diagonal bracing, and barely sunk posts directly in dirt with no footings...this ramp will not last. Pressure treated wood is rot resistant, not rot proof. Putting your head down and getting to work finishes the job faster, but like this ramp, not better. I doubt this would pass an inspection, it's almost certainly not up to code.
