Police charged the victims with felony assault by panic attack, he was acquitted after spending 42 days in jail over a cop’s mistakes, she was convicted of misdemeanor attempted resisting. They were first held for weeks without even a preliminary hearing required within 10 days of arrest by law.

It turned out the cop had no reason at all to stop the woman either, none whatsoever, and no reason to stop her at gunpoint either. He claimed a general warrant alert for a “blond woman” had been issued (WHAT!?!) but produced no such alert in court.
Also his official report on this incident bore no resemblance to the recorded video at all, from the direction he faced to what he saw and heard, and absolutely no mention of his panic attack and hospitalization.
Turns out this trigger happy, lying, wife abusing, adulterous, false report filing, testifying, twice fired cop is a “preacher”. Why am I not surprised?

I live in Cali, with high grocery and the highest gas, the closest real grocery store is about 15 miles (there’s a market close, but expensive) and we do just fine on under $40k. My wife works over 30 miles away, she burns near a tank a week, I burn about a tank every 2-3 months.
I can’t understand why others can’t do the same where gas and produce are cheaper. I grew peas, beans, and lettuce on my balcony in an apartment in the Bay Area. Yes, the EV vehicle category is due to explode, but Tesla is at full capacity (as much as they’re capable, not full factory capacity) and is about to get MASSIVE competition from the big 3, with insanely more production capacity, better supply chains, and subsidies they haven’t burned through yet. Tesla can’t keep up with demand, but they’re nearly the only game in town….but not for long. Expect demand for Teslas to plummet when electric Mustangs, Corvettes, SUVs, pickup trucks, etc start rolling off the lines in big numbers later this year, EV’s that are on par with Teslas (or better) and that customers don’t have to wait a full year for delivery…there have been multiple times recently when Elon said he would stop taking orders because he can’t produce them.
