Fun -- any idea where it was?

The cropping and general video quality makes it look sort of like old footage. Kinda reminded me of JFK assassination video, lol

Googling "Clear Cut Plastics Inc." shows that storefront in Seattle. So that makes a lot of sense.

I went with mom, dad, and my grandmother. We flew to Washington and drove from there.
It was a neat trip, but I expected more from the expo. With a few exceptions, it seemed like it was done on the cheap, compared to what I had seen in old footage. I expected to ride in a hover car, watch hologram movies, ride moving sidewalks, ride monorails, see some early teleportation, etc. Of those, I got a holographic movie, so I was somewhat disappointed. What do you expect from a 16 year old though?

I think this is old footage. I just read an article that says that piracy is way way WAY down.

All this patrolling is having an effect.

All that old footage and old dialogue reminds me so much of those shitty fake fan-made teaser trailers.

Same here. He pretty much comes out right from the start hating on the Hipster for being elitist. I can respect that, in fact, I share the feeling. Problem is it becomes increasingly clear that his objection is that he's convinced that he's the superior elitist himself, and how dare they usurp his rightful throne. Yuck.

Uhhh doesn't this video say the exact opposite of what it is trying to say? In the old footage he says exactly what he later recollects? I am no fan of McCain, but this just seems flat out wrong?

Those gallows are clearly not high enough to be a clean kill, any idiot can see that. The rope is about 2 feet long and they're hanging off what looks like a swing like i have in my back garden, it's clearly a strangulation kill. Proper gallows, as anyone who has seen old footage of such contraptions, are very very tall and involve a trapdoor and a long fall to break the neck.

I believe there were cases where the fall was not enough and relatives/friends of the hanged person would go and pull on the legs/feet of the person to make it end quickier and less painfully.

I bought a Hot Box for 100 bucks. Gets the job done, doesn't destroy my lungs, and it has a bong attachment.

Also, I'm a little confused about the title -- they say the first cafe, yet I've been going to legal cannabis clubs and hash bars in California for almost a year now. Is this old footage or is the term "cafe" what makes this a first?

I recommend everyone who hasn't been to Venice, California in a few years to take a stroll down the beach.

They think that the people who tend to only watch Fox News won't notice the old footage and will repeat it as fact in political conversations with others. Judging by many of the people I meet in my daily activities, it works as intended.

The people who would notice and/or care usually don't watch Fox News to begin with.

Actually the bump on the floor would be much higher without the off-center driveshaft connection. But in any case, very good explanation of the subject. How come a lot of these old footage manage to explain things better than all the 3d-animation you see today? Is it because these old ones explain them through simplifications as the modern equivalents have gorgeus animations that are simply too complex to grasp..
