Odd that I thought of "No More Heroes" when I saw this?
Not to me... It was my first thought too. My second thought was "Wait, this actually looks awesome."

Zero Punctuation - Red Faction Guerrilla
Wikipedia says:
"Psychonauts, Call of Duty 4, The Orange Box, Painkiller, Saints Row 2, No More Heroes, H.A.W.X, Prince of Persia, Gears of War 2 and Fallout 3 are some of the few games that have actually received a favorable review (He also gave Grand Theft Auto IV a rather favourable review, but then later nulled the review, citing a lack of good games to compare to at the time). The Valve Corporation game Portal is the only game he has ever reviewed in a completely positive manner and is rated as one of his top 5 favorite games of all time (the other four being Silent Hill 2, Spider-Man 2, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, and Fantasy World Dizzy..."
Favorite Games of 2008 (Videogames Talk Post)
1. Dead Space - This game didn't get it's due. Excellent production and easily the scariest game I've ever played. This is a game to be played at night with the lights off.
2. Fallout 3 - See my screenname. Beautiful environments, plenty to explore and Bethesda actually figured out how to make combat fun.
3. GTA4 - All around great game. Not sure why so many bashed it. Sure, your cousin calls too much, but the game only requires you to take a couple of the man-date missions.
4. Braid - A mini masterpiece with a bunch of fresh and sophisticated ideas. We need more games like this.
5. Little Big Planet - The game that keeps on giving. The level editor is massive, powerfull and intimidating. If I ever finish a level, I'll post the details here.
Honorable Mention:
No More Heroes - Avant garde games are rare. This is a good one.
Professor Layton and the Mysterious Village - Cool story/animation and fun logic puzzles.
Gears of War 2 - Great game with much variety. They pulled out all the stops.
Left 4 Dead - Great multiplayer fun, but a bit skimpy on levels.
Not to mention the high profile games that I haven't played yet (Mirror's Edge, World of Goo, Far Cry 2, BanjoKazooee, Prince of Persia, MGS4, Spore).
Alter Bridge - Rise Today
The wind is blowing cold
Have we lost our way tonight?
Have we lost our hope to sorrow?
Feels like we're all alone
Running further from what's right
And there are no more heroes to follow
So what are we becoming?
Where did we go wrong?
[Chorus:]
Yeah, oh yeah
I want to rise today
And change this world
Yeah, oh yeah
Oh, won't you rise today
And change this world?
The sun is beating down
Are we ever gonna change
Can we stop the blood from running?
Our time is running out
Hope we find a better way
Before we find we're left with nothing
For every life that's taken
So much love is wasted
[Chorus:]
Yeah, oh yeah
I want to rise today
And change this world
Yeah, oh yeah
So won't you rise today
And change
This world
Only love can set it right
This world
If only peace would never die
Seems to me that we've got each other wrong
Was the enemy just your brother all along?
[Chorus:]
Yeah, oh yeah
I want to rise today
And change this world
Yeah, oh yeah
Oh won't you rise today
And change this world?
Yeah, oh yeah
I want to rise today
And change this world
Yeah, oh yeah
I want to rise today
And change this world

If I wanted to watch all the Daily Show videos, I simply go to their website. Same train of thought here; if I wanted to watch every single video of Zero punctuation I go to their site.
37 videosift posts of Zero punctuation is a bore.
So we should stop sifting videos that are part of an ongoing series, regardless of quality? The point of VS is to collect all the best videos the net has to offer into one place. If Yahtzee's reviews become LESS THAN quality, I'll stop voting for them, but in the mean time they should be in video hall of fame called VideoSift, IMO.
Thing is, there comes a point where it becomes not posting for quality but posting because of the ongoing wave of posts, regardless of the quality of them. And then it's not only the good Zero punctuation videos being posted but every single one of them. Or are you seriously telling me all 37 videos are of quality? this one was average in my opinion.
I've seen this too many times already with the daily show videos, the TED talks, the Scientology videos, I could go on.
Are you then saying that people are posting just for the sake of posting something they know will do well?
Check the amount of probationary members with non-promoted posts vs. the amount of probationary members with promoted videos.. (ie. someone without any stars by their name)
A lot of the videos that get on to the sift, imo, get there because of who posted them, not what they contain.
Prime example is of the "improv everywhere" videos which, when i was probationary, i couldn't get sifted. I gave up, 3 weeks later there were 3 on and one was in the "most popular" list.
