Honestly, this isn't a half bad idea even when no contest is running. Everyone here seems to acknowledge that people are putting bias on the submitter of the video, so why not do something about it?

Obviously this exact method isn't perfect, but I know I am actually enjoying having no knowledge of where these videos are coming from.

@BoneRemake: That's a fun idea. I just wonder how many people would actually participate via photograph. (There's one way to find out.) Though, they wouldn't necessarily have to take a photo of themselves (many folks are camera shy), but at least just include some contest-specific message.

Republicans do fear way better than Democrats. No contest. It's hard to scare informed people using logical, objective reasoning.

That's either a very heavily modified GTR or the dude in the Veyron is just taking it easy. Off the line, maybe the GTR launch control (although the Veyron has its own) and lower weight might give it a little advantage, but once they are over 100mph, 1000 hp will stomp on 480 hp. There would just be no contest.

Even so, 200 hp is a pretty big deficit from a running start as in the second clip. I'm still skeptical.
