Ya, I didn't comment on the phrase "high-powered" because that's true enough. However, I did mention the newsreader that introduced the reporter that said "high caliber".

So I guess that makes your comment "oblivious" huh? Ya, think so. And "pedantic" isn't really a fit here either because the things I pointed out were pretty obvious false statements in a purported news segment. I don't think news should ever modify the truth, even slightly to put a new swing on the story. And if they really didn't know... It's called fact checking, and it's their job.
