Nice choice of color for the jazz channel / channel assignment. That neon green was dreadful.

The title, the euro redneck tag, the video... everything about this is so funny! It's like when you see a frickin' tricked-out, 15 year-old HONDA CIVIC HATCHBACK that is lowered and complete w/ rims, painted on flames down the side, neon lights around the license plate and -get this- an effin' spoiler on the back. A SPOILER. Might as well put on a big flashing sign that says "Please ridicule my douchiness!"

I thought this was great. The color palette of this video is like when you would go to the photo mart and request your pic be taken with neon pink lasers crisscrossing in the background.

As a kid, anytime I was over my cousin's house in Vermont, my Uncle would put Abbey Road or Let It Be (sometimes one of Lennon's solo albums) into the tape deck, dump the huge bucket of Legos we had onto the floor, and we'd go to town building gigantic, moving cities on wheels with docking ramps/landing pads for all sorts of transport/attack vehicles and any other amenity you might expect a futuristic moving city to have. We'd sit there quietly (except for the occasional squabble over a choice Lego piece, usually some transparent cockpit covering or neon booster)for hours on end. Then we'd tear it the fuck down and start all over the next time.

I also like Neon Genesis Evangelion, Ghost In The Shell, Trigun, Full Metal Alchemist, Death Note, Samurai Champloo, and Cowboy Bebop (which is probably my favorite, maybe because it had so much kickass music).

Well, I had high hopes for MadWorld, but Yahtzee's stamp of crap does make me skeptical. I'm not sure if it's because I really like the art direction or if it's because the Wii is the first and only console I've ever bought (I love my PC for gaming, the Wii is for family/my wife's friends) and I really wanted to get some good games on it that aren't neon colored and staring Mario. It's interesting that Yahtzee admits to hating both these things, so I may like this game after all.

I've heard that it's a game you have to play through once before it really starts to get good (Amazon reviews reflect this too). Yahtzee seems to have missed that fact.
