Muppet Show - Rowlf and Sam the Eagle - Tit Willow

Milton Berle vs. Statler & Waldorf

I love Milton Berle AND the classic Muppet show. Just watch some of Dean Martin's old roasts, though - I'd hardly call Mr. Berle innocent . He just has a cleaner mouth than the hacks these days.

Point Your Finger - The Wiggles

kronosposeidon says...

Yes, it's a real *kids show from Australia. I know about the Wiggles because my son briefly used to like watching these boys from *downunder on the Disney Channel. I think they all come across as a little creepy to me. Glad I'm not the only one who feels this way.

You want to know what's really *terrible about all this? They have been Australia's top-earning entertainers for the past three years in a row. In 2006 alone they earned $A50 million ($46.7 million US). Don't get me wrong; I'm not down on all children's entertainment. Sesame Street, Captain Kangaroo, the Muppet Show, and Mr. Rogers were all great, and Sesame Street is still good. Even the Teletubbies aren't bad. But most of the shit these days like the Wiggles, Barney, etc. sucks donkey balls.

It sounds like you went veggie because you over analyze things, like how much impact a single Muppet Show sketch had on your later life.

I don't walk around saying "Manna Manna" to everyone I meet.

Man, I didn't realize how Pavlovian some of that crap was. Especially ones that came before a show. Like, once I heard those sounds, I expected a particular show to come on, and I was happy. Particularly (for me), the Hanna-Barbera star before He-Man, the ITC before the Muppet Show, WGBH Boston before 3-2-1 Contact (if I recall), and The Annenberg/CPB Project before any crappy horribly acted PBS show about math or something.

gorgonheap says...

Gorgonheap is a muppet by Jim Henson, he is the hailed "Worlds greatest eater." And eats Kermit, Louis Gazaga, and Vincent Price (along with a pitcher of water, a table and anything else that's within reach.
Gorgonheap is roughly 7ft tall and has orange hair all over his body and a gaping mouth that can fit large objects.
His first appearance was on the Muppet show airing in 1978 featuring Vincent Price as the guest star during the Halloween episode.
There is no significance it's just so obscure it's the only screen name not taken.
