hahaha the non-dubbed voice is just so great. the acting is horrible, but in the lipsynced audio version at least the voice really is good (at least over here). but the austrian english really is hilarious.

Rasch, that's not Eric Clapton... it's Jeff Beck. There's no Clapton in this video at all.

Upvote anyway... it's worth noting that this is actually live. Lots of these old clips are lipsync performances; this one is wonderfully ragged and real.

Indeed.. although I've noticed during some of these videos she seems to lack any emotion - at times her face is entirely devoid of any expression. But aye, a very nice voice, and it complements Jack's quite well when they sing together. Great duo here, with a bright future ahead of 'em, it seems.

It takes a lot of focus to sing like that and you are spoiled by music videos and lip syncs.


I actually despise most (mainstream) music videos, and detest lipsyncing.
But no, you have me all figured out don't ya! I'm not saying her voice isn't good, it is - it's very lovely in fact.
She's just not my type of musician.. too detached and nonchalant. Doesn't seem to really feel what she sings. This song isn't the best example, as it doesn't require much exuberance, but it's not just in this one that I've noticed it.

I had to upvote when it became obvious her mother was lipsyncing the snarled vowels.

Haha yeah the flutist is Bob Hite! I think they had to lipsync this so Bob was making a bit of a joke out of it. He was a really neat guy too. Bob "The Bear" Hite! I wish they were still around, these guys :{

Awesome! Not being a big fan myself of shows forcing artists to lipsync, I applaud them for this. The more I hear about these guys, the more I like them. They are truly a class act.

I agree that the livemusic collective can include lipsync vids if the artists appear to be performing.

When the girl in the video lipsyncs the letter L she sticks her tongue pretty far outside her face. Distractingly annoying.
