Yeah, I grew out of my interest/fascination with Jim Morrison after I graduated high school, and realized that he was a really a mediocre poet and the Doors.

Pink Floyd on the other hand... haha

Jim Morrison and Screened Glass: They're both doors.
Hardwood and Dirt: They're both floors.
Tipper and Martin: They're both Gores.
Marine and Peace: They're both Corps'.
Genital Warts and Hemmoroids: They're both sores.
Ann Coulter and Devine Brown: They're both whores.

Pretty sure the photos he used are of the outside of Serge Gainsbourg's house on the left bank in Paris, which is kinda like a shrine to the guy, a bit in the same way that the Jim Morrison grave is over there too (Serge Gainsbourg is sooo much better though)

I am not totally sure, but I think that was actually his first LSD experience (and obviously his last one). We don't really know how much he liked it. He did like mescaline though, and described his experiences with it in his book "Doors of Perception", from which Jim Morrison's band took its name. Also, that's 200 *micro* grams (μg)--"mikes" in the old lingo--not milligrams (mg), which is 1000x as much and would _really_ be something.

D'oh! Then who the hell am I thinking of? Must have confused him with Jim Morrison.

I bet there wasn't this amount of whining when Jim Morrison was doing exactly the same thing - ON THE ALBUMS.

Did they have the internet in 1955? Eh?

What about the Nuremburg trials? What about the Geneva convention? Are neither of those progress enough for America? Luther King? Malcom X?

Mark Twain?

What about a man on the moon? What about showing human beings their planet from space for the first time in the history of mankind?


All of these things are the birthright of every American and they are being desecrated in broad daylight by the very same people who brought you the illegal invasion of Iraq.
