Batshit crazy Trump, after a few totally unhinged and embarrassing press conferences, this morning went on TV asking China, who he says is our enemy, to investigate Biden, his finances, and business dealings.
He claims Biden's son took $1.5 billion from China as a board member of an investment fund, but the facts are he wasn't even paid to be on the board, didn't own any of the fund until 2017, when he bought 10% for around $400000, making the total value of the fund $4 million, not $1.5 billion.....but Trump is incapable of not exaggerating monetary figures.
This makes 6 known instances of him asking foreign powers to interfere in the election by smearing his political opponents for his personal gain. You know....attempting illegal and illicit collusion.

I know, because Trump did it you're going to insist it's perfectly fine, legal, moral, ethical, and patriotic to do that.....

So......

What do you think about the Democratic candidates asking Merkel for Germany's help pressuring Deutsche bank to publicly release all Trump financial records, including taxes and records of exactly who has made major deposits to his accounts (hint, you don't want that info investigated)....to investigate the entire Trump family for unconstitutional corruption? You know, like sweetheart deals in China, Russia, and Saudi Arabia for Trump's children, who have actually made millions off the quid pro quo gifts they got from hostile foreign powers in exchange for arms deals, removing sanctions, recognizing Crimea as Russia, etc. from Trump. That would be fine too, right?

Aaaaahahaha! My reading says Trump, Guliani, and Putin should instantly, without warning, have all assets frozen AND be denied entry to the U.S.....and Trump should no longer be able to fundraise in the U.S..

Edit : and apparently in that 2017 meeting with Russian officials in the oval office, the one where he burned Israeli agents to brag about the info they had shared on Isis, he told them he didn't care about Russian interference in the election because, he told them, the U.S. interferes in other countries elections. That's why memos and transcripts from that meeting were also placed on the top secret server, even though they contained zero state secrets or classified (any more) information. *facepalm

President's personal attorneys aren't involved in foreign affairs that are above board....ever.
Unclassified transcripts aren't hidden in servers intended for top secret CIA info if there's nothing to hide.
Trump admitted on TV that he asked a foreign president to investigate his political rival. Collusion.
Breaking the law to hide the whistleblower report doesn't happen if there's nothing to hide.

I hope you're ready for crazy Biden to loose his mind and break the law daily, and for Democrats to completely ignore it and laugh at you for being bothered because they run both houses. Just because you agree, or you want it to be true doesn't mean it is. This is the exact problem so many on the right, like @bobknight33 have. If the info aligns with their perception of reality it must be accurate, no matter how bad or unreliable the source, and no matter what other evidence contradicts it.

TLDW, but it should be pointed out that Assange was set to be prosecuted for helping Manning break into secure government computers, not posting the info Manning got on his own.
Perhaps that's no longer the case, but people have mistakenly said his prosecution was an attack on free speech since his arrest on those charges...when really it was an attack on hackers.

Here is the encouragement. It doesn't matter if Sid is a good or a bad guy. Although, arguably, Sid isn't really a villain - just a kid who likes to play rough with his toys. But that's a different argument. I believe the encouragement is in the promotion of the idea that, put bluntly, torture is effective.

It's this idea, whatever the character motivation is at the time, nomatter who the character is, that encourages the use of torture as an acceptable means of extracting some kind of cooperation from the person being tortured- which is simply NOT true.

I work with Indigenous tribes & Indigenous activist groups throughout the west and midwest, everyday. They can be confrontational, no doubt. But, I also don't actually fault these brats. They just remind me of all of the jock ass ignorant privileged scum I grew up with in PA being confronted with something they aren't prepared for.

Not to mention the fact that we are now fully in a digital age of Google algorithms that basically give a person exactly what they are looking for and nothing else (an internet search used to be research in the 90's, siphoning through a lot of info). People are growing up in very insular bubbles; and ignorance breeds from that. One should also fault the educational system; but in a place like Kentucky, I'd imagine the social media bubble is fueling these kids' education more than their public schools are; there's always college (hopefully).
