Heckler calls Obama the Anti-Christ

shuac says...

There was a guy in my "speech" class who did a speech about Obama being the Anti-Christ, even the rednecks in the class were like "WTF dude?"
Same guy did another speech about Jay-Z being in the Illuminati...fun class.

Which community college is that?

I wish WTF.

You're correct, I should not have brought a discussion from another thread into your post. Sorry about that.

As far as removing it from my channel. I'm not sure a parody of a conspiracy actually qualifies as a conspiracy as described in my channel's description.

I don't mind being made fun of, or teased for my beliefs. My friends do it all the time. But being belittled and condescended because of them is another story. And that shit's getting out of hand here on the sift as of late. Everyone here seems to think they are the know all and be all of every subject on the face of the earth, and it's a tad bit unsettling to be honest. I find it amusing how vehemently people defend that there's nothing fishy about 9/11, when clearly there's a lot fishy about it.

IMO, Ponce is now engaging in a form of bullying on the sift, picking on Marbles repeatedly whenever the subject of a conspiracy comes up. He's acting like a Jr. High School punk because someone believes differently than he does. It's no different from picking on the "Fag" because he's not that same as you.

The Daily show while being comedy actually talks about factual events going on in the US and the rest of thew world even though it uses a comedic spin to do so it's still "news" IMO.

I'm fairly new around here and I need some enlightenment.

I don't care about the fight from another thread spilling over here, but doesn't the mere mention of the Illuminati invoke one of the biggest conspiracy theories of all time? I see your point about this being a parody of conspiracy people, but by that parody they are talking about the theory (I don't buy it BTW).

They're making fun of a real conspiracy theory. Should The Daily Show be included in the "news" channel? I say yes--but conspiracy is your channel, so it's your call.

Thanks

If you have something to say about @<a rel="nofollow" href="http://videosift.com/member/marbles" title="member since May 7th, 2011" class="profilelink">marbles, at least have the courtesy to do so in his presence. Calling him out in a thread where he has not yet uttered a word is unsporting.

He/she/it is just being a douche to the nth degree because he/she/it thinks there are no such things as conspiracies and that anyone who thinks there are is an idiot. Yes ponc we all know our government would NEVER lie to us, the American people, EVER, right? I'm so glad they found those WMD's in Iraq. Or else that would mean they lied to get us into an unnecessary war.

Sorry but this doesn't qualify for my channel, it's comedy not a conspiracy *nochannel *spacy *lies *comedy

I stand by my parody of Marble's constant use of "proof" found on the internet. Especially at the absolute rudeness that I've encountered when trying to have a logical, normal conversation with the person. If he was reasonable, polite, or otherwise added something worthwhile to the sift I would agree, but he's a borderline troll if it wasn't for the fact I kind of believe he's for real... oops, maybe I've been trolled like with Shiny.

Meh, is that the best they've got?

Honestly, I haven't been following the Elenin/Niribu stuff. But on the surface, I'm more under the impression that it's mostly of no significance.
However, I wouldn't be surprised if this whole "Elenin conspiracy" movement was actually engineered and started by the Illuminati, government puppet masters, international banking elites, <or whatever you want to call them>.

As for there being no conspiracies, duckman, you have me in error. I am absolutely the first to say that the government CAN lie to us. The lack of WMD was a real travesty and showed how a few people could blow bad intelligence into an excuse for going to war. That said, there is a VERY big difference between the quite provable WMD incident and the Building 7 thing which it seems like there can't be any amount of logic or evidence to convince the truthers.

DUDE! If it is out there on the internet, it's gotta be fucking true. You are all fucking brainwashed maaaan!</marbles>

Your link is BULLSHIT! It says, "I found out that a large celestial body has already penetrated the solar system and is on course for a near and possibly horrific encounter with the earth in the fall of 2011.

Come on! It's obvious that it will be in 2012!

"Building 7" Explained

jackhalfaprayer says...

>> ^quantumushroom:

Occam asks: Why would the demolitioninjas collapse the building in an orderly manner that would arouse the suspicions of conspiracy theorists (and 1500 construction experts)? Why didn't they wire the building so it would fall over?

>> ^marinara:
Let's say WT7 had 20 columns holding up 47 floors (that's big). So these big ass columns get pushed around by by the "flooring under heat expansion" and then the other 20 ginormous columns fail instantly, and the whole thing goes down.
If one column can bring down WT7, it wasn't a skyscraper, it was a deathtrap.

You're mis-wielding the Razor. 1) The construction of T1/T2, and I assume 7-- steel-structured buildings in the old WTC site were such that they *would* impolode in the face of structural failure, not fall over. this limits casualties from outside the buildings. 2) The assumption that there are demoninjas necessitates the sub-assumption of the fact that demonninjas do not care what conspirators think, because conspirators will not be able to prove anything, because the ninjas are ninjas. 3) Because, in theory, the demoninjas are making so much money off of this that risking the ire of 1500+ construction experts, demo experts, engineers, and internet users isn't nearly reason enough to stop them taking the risk.

Can I just say... (I lived a few short blocks away in NYC at the time of the collapse. And I am a truther of sorts.) ...I'd like to stop the idea that conspiracy "nuts" are akin to religious zealots, suffer from some kind of mania, think that Illuminati lizards control the world, etc. The government's official story is BOTH a conspiracy (religious nuts in a cave in Afghanistan conspired to crash two planes into two of the largest structures in the financial capital of the west) and a theory (there has been no trial, there is very little hard evidence, there was no comprehensive official investigation, and both the Commission and NIST reports were produced by government institutions or congressionally appointed committee, and neither were conclusive- both were, in the end, speculative.
